Joanna is a genuine and gracious host. If you do nothing other than stay in her beautifully restored home you would be melting away everyday stress. I highly recommend it.

Joanna was great! We showed up in the middle of a torrential downpour after 10 hours of driving and she got us in and made sure everything was in order. In the morning, there was continental breakfast, which was nice. We were only there long enough to shower/sleep, so I can not comment on the neighborhood or surrounding area.

Our stay was just right for what we needed - a friendly landing spot while in town for a family wedding. Joanna and Ottar were welcoming, kind and unobtrusive; their home was lovely and character-filled. Even though Joanna was leaving town, she left us handpicked blackberries and a light cold breakfast to help ourselves to at our leisure. It was a great start to the day.

Host very welcoming and pleasant.. Stair's to bedrooms where as to be expected in a historical house, could be a challenge to some.
