Together with my husband Angelo, we own and operate four luxury vacation homes in Old Town Niagara on the Lake. We fell into the business by accident when I was president of a global furniture retailer and we were moved to Sweden for my work in 2000. We decided to buy a home in the town so that we could return every summer and Christmas with our young daughter to see family. When we moved back to Canada we decided to offer Simcoe Pines up as a vacation home and it was so successful that we bought 3 more homes in the town the following 3 years. Up until 2 years ago Angelo ran the homes and took care of the guests on his own. I retired at that time and we have now moved down to the town of Niagara on the Lake and we work on our business full time together. We love it!
We have a passion for the town first and foremost but also love interior decorating, landscaping, photography and writing....all the things that this business gives us. We especially enjoy our guests. We have been in business in the town with our homes for 14 years and we have 60% returning guests and over 200 5 star reviews across many sites.
Our daughter Sophia works at a local winery called Trius and she also enjoys speaking with our guests about the town and all it has to offer.
We stay in our homes when they are available (usually in the winter) so that we can see if anything is missing as we love to cook and are quite critical about what is needed to put on a meal for guests!
We love to travel and with such amazing staff such as Anne our head housekeeper, we are able to go on short trips to Italy, the Caribbean etc and know the homes are in good hands.
We hope you enjoy our homes as much as we do!
