The warmer months are a great time to explore the Snowy Mountains region while staying in our rustic cottage in the heart of Adaminaby. Our quaint weatherboard house was part of the historic relocation of the town in the 1950's. So while we can't promise modern, glossy or up-market, it is clean, homely, cosy, quaint, comfortable and affordable. We hope you will feel like you are staying in a "home away from home" with loads of character, rather than just renting some beds for a night or two!

The perfect place for our Father/Son ski getaway. Anything we needed was there and some really nice touches like a warm fire burning on arrival and fresh milk and juice. Amazingly appointed kitchen with every appliance and utensil known to man. Great variety of movies and board g…

Jayne's cottage is wonderful. It defines the phrase "don't judge a book/cottage by its cover/cladding. On arrival, you think "hmmm..." And then you enter and the fire heater is warming the cottage up, there is milk, juice and homemade pickles (heaven) in the fridge, the beds are …

Thanks Taimus ... great feedback for us as we have put lots of effort into getting the inside as nice as we could make it for this winter. The work on the exterior of the cottage can't commence til the weather warms up and these feral winds stop! Yes, please come back!

Hi Leigh, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Being new to Airbnb, you probably don't understand that Airbnb treats anything less than 5 stars out of 5 as though there was some problem or concern. So by giving us 4 out of 5 in every category, you are effectively indicating that you had a range of issues during your stay, which we assume wasn't the case as your comments whenever we contacted you were all positive. Please be a bit kinder to any future hosts as these ratings are important.

We loved staying at Jayne's place. The house has so much to do - loads and loads of books and games. The 2 fireplaces kept us super warm. It is a very old cozy cottage and still needs lots of renovation. The hosts are very kind and helpful, we loved how there was ample firewood s…

Thanks Ilse. Glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We keep our rates very low because we are still making improvements to the house, but we are quite clear on this point in our listing.

The quaint cottage is exactly that - quaint! The wood fires were amazing and kept us toasty warm (actually we were hot) after our days at Selwyn boarding. It is very homely and was a perfect base for our snow trip. The shower is the BEST shower I have had - super hot with awesom…
