Do you want to escape from hectic lifestyle, fast technology, city-life and work enjoying birds singing, swimming butterflies in our natural gardens with peaceful lake view of swinging in the hammock. This place is a tranquil and relaxing on the outskirts of Pokhara; enveloped in the natural Himalayan splendour and situated about 150m overlooking the Phewa lake. Come to enjoy our Hidden Paradise in the real Nepalese village to experience the real paradise. Only 30 mins walk from busy Lakeside.

The space

It is surrounded by nature overlooking Phewa Lake which is the second largest lake in Nepal, the main town of Pokhara, the World Heritage Stupa, temple in the lake more. It is a tranquil and relaxing getaway and the most popular room in our property.

It offers excellent views of the mountains, their reflections in the lake, World Heritage Stupa, Temple in the lake etc. Clean mountain air and a peaceful environment compliment the friendly, family run atmosphere of this hillside guest house, which makes this truly Hidden Paradise unique and unlike any place you have ever been to before.

Our favorite part of the place, where our guests spend most time is in our gardens viewing the lake. Our guests describe it if amazing breath-taking view. You also enjoy the deep fresh air breath in.

In our place there are some geckos, crickets, fireflies, butterflies, birds and sometime monkeys too! Remember we are living in nature :)This is also great for meditation, yoga & healing practices.

We often do milking freshly from buffalo from our relatives in the village and we cook organic seasonable vegetables.

Our spring water comes from the mountain behind our place carrying the goodness of Himalayan minerals. We use it after having purified for drinking and cooking. If you prefer, we have bottled water also.

We follow an environmentally friendly and sustainable way of living and we are actively supporting the local community; our hot showers are heated by solar energy, in our kitchen we only use produce and vegetables from the area, our employees come from the nearby villages and the support of the local youth club has been a priority for several years.

Come to enjoy our Hidden Paradise surrounded by nature and real Nepalese village to experience the real paradise. It's only 30 mins walk from busy Lakeside and a perfect retreat for solo traveller, couples, artists or musicians whoever would like to experience beauty of nature.

Round House is located our highest position with a completely private big balcony looking down the best view in our property. It is a traditional and magical room surrounded by nature. The spacious en suite has one big bed with views of Pokhara and Phewa Lake. Hot shower & bathtub are available in the private bathroom.

Breakfast and local and international meals are available for lunch and dinner upon request. It is enjoyed in our garden too.

Guests are treated as part of our family member. Please feel free to use living space, sit in the terrace to enjoy wonderful views and wonder around our natural gardens area. Wi-Fi is also accessible free of charge.

Interaction with guests

The property is run by three brothers (we are paragliding pilots). We grew up here and now manage the property for our family. We enjoy sharing our home with guests, and treat guests as our family too.

As you are going to be in the family place, we care about your interests and we will try to arrange all the possible activities in Pokhara. We are a local family originally from Pokhara, we can help you organise any or all the activities available here – Yoga & Medication classes at our place, trekking, paragliding, day tours, and boating on the lake and many more. We can arrange airport pick up, day tour, trekking, bus and air tickets for you too. We will take you into the adventures and provide you healing. Please feel free to ask us.

**Samples of activities**
All our brothers are very active. We are also experienced and qualified Tandem Paragliding Pilots, Trekking Guides, Yoga & Meditation Instructors and Massage Therapist especially for the Trek Massage.

“Morning Yoga class (1 hour)” by our cosine Shree who has been teaching yoga over 10 years.

2 brothers are qualified “Tandem Paragliding” Pilots. They can take you even into the sky! As our house guest, you will have a special price. Please book it as earlier as possible. This activity is very popular!

Our guests also enjoy “Sarangkot Sunrise excursion” to see the spectacular sunrise over the Himalayan range. HPGH is located on the way (1.5 to 2 hours hiking) to Sarangkot where you can see beautiful view of Himalayan range, villages and lake.

“Morning Cultural Excursion” visiting our neighbour living in the traditional Nepalese home. Milking buffalo, make Nepalese tea in the traditional kitchen to experience culture etc.

“Home Made Bean Coffee from our coffee tree”
We have many coffee trees in our place. In season we harvest them, roast and make own bean coffee with our guests.

Laxman and Milan are professional qualified massage therapist.

Milan, Laxman, Manish and Shree are also well experienced qualified trekking guides.
We can arrange short and long Trekking tours
12 - 14 days Annapurna circuit trekking
08 - 10 days Annapurna Base Camp
02 - 04 days Panchase
03 - 05 days Poonhill trekking
01- 02 days Australian camp trekking

After having your trek, we can provide the Special Trekkers Massage which has been especially created for muscles pain. As they are expert trekking guide, they also know trigger points! Why not to try?

Other things to note

Our place is accessed by an uphill through local village. The trail is a 200m climb - a substantial 5 -10 mins hike depending on how fit you are. Please let us know at time of booking, if you travel with a lot of luggage so we can organize a porter to carry your things up to the house. When you return or leave the house after evening, a light is essential.
This is accommodation situated in nature with beautiful big natural gardens. There are lots of spots for sitting, reading, walking, napping, meditation, Yoga etc..
In Nepal each day & night, there is often no electricity for several hours. There is a load-shedding schedule which will give you a rough outline of when to expect power. We provide you with a light which can be charged and used when the power is out. Candles also bring a romantic and cozy feel to the home. It's great to use this time to slow down, listen to the nature and leave behind the modern world!
** Information about internet at Hidden Paradise**
We have internet at our place. In general, you are not able to find fast internet connection in Nepal. If you just check emails, it should be find.
It is also available pre-paid mobile internet data pack which you can connect to your laptop. You can also buy a mobile SIM card for your smart phone with data. We can assist you to arrange it, if needed.
**Shopping foods**
There are plenty of stores at Lake Side (2km), the main tourist area, where you can find all what you need. And if you need something very special, you can also go to the city (+/-6km), where there are quite big supermarkets. (Saleways in Lakeside, S-mart in Lakeside, Bread shop, Veges)

Truly beautiful place overlooking the lake. We both felt that we had the best room in the whole city. The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful, and the rooms clean and well decorated. The location is a little bit out of town (30 minute walk) which means it's quiet, relaxed and clean, exactly what we needed after trekking. Laxman and his family are really knowledgeable, keen to help you make the most out of your time, and full of good suggestions. If we are ever lucky enough to go back to Pokhara, we will definitely stay again.

I love love love my stay at Hidden Paradise. Laxman's house is so full of love and truly you will feel so welcomed and become part their family in no time. This place ticks all the boxes I was looking for and that is: Relaxation, amazing views, quietness and family feel. There are some long term guests in the house who are all so lovely, funny and nice. They make me laugh so much and I miss them. I stayed at the upper level Round House which I would strongly recommend others to stay there too because this is the energy house which means you will sleep like a baby...which I did! The room was a total comfort, has beautiful views and so spacious. Before choosing this place to stay however, you need to know if this is what you're looking for. Laxman's house is far away from the crowds and main town. It is very very quiet and secluded. There's no restaurants or shops close by. To even get to the main street, you have to walk around 5-10 mins and pass all the locals' houses and farms. For me, this is just perfect and is the reason why I chose this place to stay. The million dollar views from the top of the house just won me over. Also one important tip: DO NOT BRING BIG LUGGAGE.'d thank me later. Because to get to the house, you actually need to walk up the hills with rocky bits. Bring only necessary clothes and stuff in a backpack and leave the rest in your hotel in Kathmandu or somewhere. It'd make your travel much easier. Everyday I had amazing home-cooked meals of dhal bhat with the whole family. The food was simple yet so delicious. Laxman's sister-in-law is a great cook. Milan, Laxman's brother is always in the house ready to help you and cook for you. He's just great. I also did paragliding with Laxman and it was one of my best experiences. I also did a city tour with Milan's friend but unfortunately I didn't really enjoy it but that's ok...I still love Hidden Paradise and I will be back to Pokhara for sure one day. Also, make sure you check again and again with Laxman about the pickup from airport/bus station. And have his number handy and also the place's address...just in case. No one turned up at the airport for me when I arrived despite after confirming with Laxman. Thankfully a random taxi guy was so kind and called Laxman for me. For some reason Laxman's friend who was supposed to pick me up didn't turn up and didn't answer his phone either. So Laxman came himself with his motorbike. It's my first time being on motorbike and I really enjoyed the ride. Turned out it's actually a good thing that Laxman picked me up with his motorbike because we could go all the way up to the house and hence I didn't have to...
