Private beach side 2 bed 2 bath top floor unit, with sweeping coastal front bushland views, backed by the Pacific ocean, watch the whales from the balcony! Located in a boutique resort, the unit boasts floor to ceiling polished tile bathrooms, large spa bath, his and her shower heads in the main, in an open bath design. 2 min walk to trendy cafe and supermarket, with other essentials there also. 3 min slow amble to the pristine white sandy beach, and just 15 min drive to Gold Coast Int. Airport.

Guest access

As a resort guest, you have access to the 2 pools, hot spa and lounge poolside common area with multiple comfy sofas and day beds. There is an AMAZING restaurant in the resort, please try it. There is a "Wellness Spa" that offers some pretty awesome pampering, from hot rock massage, lymphatic drainage, or a takeaway "bath butler" pack for $25 (at last check) that consists of exfoliants, body cremes and bath salts for use in the privacy of the your units spa bath! Bookings are essential, and can be made through the front desk or by phone.
***Please Note, other than taking these Wellness Spa bookings, the front desk will offer you NO assistance, as my unit is let through Airbnb and not them***

ON ARRIVAL, a local cohost will meet you to provide you your access key.

The front desk will only assist you for Wellness Spa bookings and fire emergencies. If you leave the swipe key in the apartment during office hours (9am to 5pm), you will have to message me via Airbnb, I will have to email the front desk and provide authority to issue you a new one. This takes time, best to go over the road and grab a coffee. Heaven forbid you lock yourself out after hours, the front desk will charge $150 call out fee. Unfortunately I have to pass this fee onto you, though you are welcome to the receipt. PLEASE be careful, for the pleasantness of your stay, PLEASE do not get locked out from the unit!!!

Other things to note

Front desk DOES NOT provide assistance, other than mentioned above. Lock out from lost keys WILL incur a $150 surcharge out of hours, (absurd i know), lock out in hours takes email ping pong time to rectify your issue. PLEASE be sure to take care of the swipe card to avoid this !

Please ensure the stove extractor fan is on if cooking, the smoke alarms are sensitive!!
On departure please put dishes in the automatic dishwasher and run the heavy cycle, and towels in the washing machine and run the normal cycle.
Also leave generally tidy with rubbish put in the bins provided.
Keys can be left in the unit on departure, the carpark security gate opens automatically on exit. Thank you.

We loved our stay in Casuarina! The beautiful view and the passing whales are fantastic. It is a well appointed apartment which suits families and couples alike. The bathroom is super! The resort is very nicely finished in a Balinese style. We had lunch in the Thai restaurant and enjoyed it. The beach is close by. We would recommended this apartment to anybody who is interested in a luxury apartment on a quiet location, but very central to many facilities. We definitely will come back ourself.

It was a wonderful experience staying here. I can highly recommend it. The resort is beautiful and the reception staff at the resort very helpful - although to be honest I did not have time to check out the facilities in full. The particular location of this apartment is well away from the main hub of the resort so it is very quiet and peaceful - it is perfect. The outlook is sand dunes and ocean - absolutely gorgeous in that respect. The apartment is very modern and new so felt great. There was a slight odour in the main bedroom but some fresh air helped to clear that away. The beach which is a short walk was so lovely and quiet also. There is a shopping centre nearby (short walk) and I highly, highly recommend a nearby café/bar called Osteria - it was incredible. The check in and check out experience was fantastic with great communication, flexibility and understanding. Will definitely look at staying here again - as will my friends who also stayed with me on this trip. Thanks Michael!!!

Hi Simone thanks for your positive feedback. I just wanted to clarify for other guests, that generally the reception staff only offer assistance for the Wellness Spa bookings or fire emergencies, though Im glad to hear they were helpful to you. I rent privately as opposed to through this front desk, which is why youll find my room charges about 45 to 55% cheaper than if the booking were made through the front desk or online for an equivalent room. My guests are still entitled to full resort facilities of course, being the pool, restaurant, wellness spa and communal lounge area as well as the lobby entrance. Sorry about the odour, ive not encountered it before, though id guess it may have been cleaning product or insect spray. Given our bushland/beachfront location, sometimes we'll get some standard aussie bugs inside, and we try and have the unit free of any of these on the occasions they pop up. Ill mention to the cleaner to ensure an air out after any times we have to use a spray in preparation for guests. Thanks again, and you're welcome back anytime.
