Hi Pradyut Sir,
Thanks for taking time out and providing the feedback. It really matters the most for us.
Since you have been to Chandrataal now and know well with how the terrain is and what facilities we have there.
Its not a hotel or homestay at a regular place, The camps are temporary settlements and getting electricity or any power in such place is a bliss.
Still we have tried our level best to make all possible arrangements and to make our guest's stay as comfortable as possible.
Please note that the camps are temporary settlements and there is no regular power supply available by govt. or any other company. We have gen-set which we use during dinner time and also we have solar lights in camp.
But provided such a harsh terrain and location, there can be instances when we need to manage the resources and sometimes, we have to save fuel for the next day. The nearest fuel station is 6 hours in Kaza (which runs out of fuel many a times) and another one in Manali (8 hrs).
I don't know what would someone do at midnight at 4200 meters from ASL.
Please reconsider the rating and feedback and also let us know which really can be improved provided all resources that we can have there.
