Clean, bright, open room, features private bathroom and kitchenette. The property is on a small river across the street from a big Balinese temple, so the atmosphere is calm and perfect for those looking for a cultural experience right out their door. The complex is decorated with gardens, a fish pond, spiritual statues and has common areas to relax and read. Away from the heavy traffic of Ubud but within walking to restaurants, coffee shops and yoga. Quiet yet close to it all! English speaking!

The space
Each of our rooms has a small kitchenette with coffee and tea provided all day. We also offer motorbike rentals and can easily arrange transportation to the airport or other sightseeing locations. English-speaking owners. Guesthouse is located away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, but still close to all the action. Within walking distance to Alchemy raw food restaurant, other restaurants, coffee shops, and yoga. Conveniently located to be able to get in and out of Ubud without sitting in terrible traffic. Great area to walk around and get a sense of village life, see rice fields through the walking paths near the house, and even take a run! Penestanan is well know as a painting village, so if you'd like to take painting lessons or learn any other aspect of Balinese culture, let us know!
