Pierre met us at his studio and was very welcoming on arrival. He gave us some good local tips of places to go and was very hospitable. The studio is located in a perfect location and only a few minutes walk away from two metro stations. We found that it was just as easy to walk around the sights of Paris as the studio is so conveniently located. The studio is as described and very homely. It has all the things you could want for a short trip away including iron, hairdryer and towels. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.
This was my first ever AirBnB booking. I booked the apartment earlier in the year with Pierre. He communicated with me right away, following the booking. And was very quick to respond on any other questions, etc I sent him prior to my trip. He provided me with descriptive directions from the airport (all in English - which was so nice and helpful!) and when I arrived he was really my hero when he carried my (very) heavy bag up all 3 flights of stairs! :) The place was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. I was traveling alone and the size of the apartment was exactly what I needed for space - and I was there for 2 weeks. The view out the window was wonderful to me, as it was my first time in Paris (Europe, even) and it just fit the part. The location was THE BEST. It wasn't in a touristy spot. It was very close to groceries, cafes, banks/ATMs, metro. Everything you really needed was within a quick walking distance. It also seemed very safe to me. As a female, walking alone in a new city, day or night, I felt comfortable. Probably more safe than I do here in Portland, Oregon lol Just a few doors down the street were 2 bars - Coltrane and Cosmo. The staff there were incredible and I quickly became friends with them. They even treated me to a "Last night in Paris" gathering, which was so fun! However, I didn't get back to the apartment until early morning and ended up oversleeping and wasn't ready when Pierre showed up for check out. I was quite embarrassed! Thankfully, he was so kind to me about it and just gave me direction on how to close up. Early in my trip, I left for a few days and went to London. I was able to keep all of my stuff there and I felt very safe with it being there. In regards to Pierre during my trip.....he was great! He offered to come by to change my towels, bedding, etc. He was good with checking in to see if I needed anything and responded quickly to any messages. Overall, this place helped make my trip to be one of the best. And it was so affordable. I would absolutely love to stay here again, the next time I am in Paris and with no question, recommend it to any travelers.
This flat is an incredible base for a stay in Paris. Less than 5 minutes walking from République and Temple metro stations, it was easy to get into and out of the flat while still feeling like a tucked away home in the city with a quiet courtyard and restaurants/bars in the square and on the street. The space is small, but we closed up the bed each day to make for a more comfortable living space in the mornings and evenings. Pierre was responsive throughout the whole process, sending very clear and accurate directions to the address, checking in and responding to questions during our stay. Definitely recommend and would happily stay again when in Paris!
