Casa Verde was built in 1941 (don't worry, there's excellent water pressure and all the amenities of a new home (pool, spa, air conditioning, dishwasher, microwave, washer, dryer, etc.). It is a great place to relax, and enjoy all of the beauty the desert has to offer! There is a separate casita that offers a third living space (bathroom, kitchen, living area and queen bed. The reduced pricing in August and September does NOT include the casita. If you are interested, please let me know and we can discuss pricing.
You will have access to the entire house including the separate casita. There is off street parking in the driveway under an awning.
Interaction with guests
We are available by phone if you have any issue during your stay, but you will have the whole house and casita to yourself. There will be nobody else on the property. We have a local co-host (my mother in law Patricia) who will attend to anything you may need during your stay.
Other things to note
The main house has two bedrooms with queen size beds; master bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. The separate and detached casita is set up like a studio; with a private bath, kitchenette and dining area (Please note the casita is cooled by an evaporative cooler and may not be very efficient during the hot humid days of July, August and September - therefore the pricing for these months DOES NOT include the use of the Casita). The main kitchen is well stocked for people who like to cook e.g.: food processor, blender, toaster, full array of pots and pans, spices, condiments etc.
We want you to enjoy your time at Casa Verde and enjoy the pool, spa and grounds, but we do have neighbors, so please be respectful and keep noise to a reasonable level. Please do not smoke inside the house, but smoking outside is fine. Your pet is welcome with a deposit. We have original Saltillo floors, so please make sure they are house-trained and will not suffer anxiety if left alone in a new space. Please use the Mexican blankets to protect the furniture if needed.

My partner Nick and I spend our time between Palm Springs and Downtown Los Angeles. We both work in the real estate property and asset management industry and are avid fans of hosting our friends and family in either of our homes. Our favorite travel destinations are Provincetown and Santa Fe, NM, and are slowly making our way through Europe. We are hoping to make the best impression with our "new" friends and guests that we meet here on airbnb, and we look forward to meeting you!
