Welcome to our winter home away from home! This is a great condo for a ski vacation or weekend escape to the White Mountains. There is lots of space to spread out, a fully equipped kitchen and, best of all, we are walking distance to restaurants and pubs! Loon Mountain is only a 5 minute drive away.

The space

This is a great townhouse/loft style condo. As you enter the home you will find a spacious living room with hardwood floors, comfy couches and a new HDTV over the fireplace. Wifi is good here. We have a large kitchen table and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and disposal. The ground floor also has a laundry closet, and a large master bedroom with a comfortable queen bed and a full bath. Upstairs you will find a second family room, a loft bedroom with another queen bed, and a twin bedroom. There is another full bath upstairs also.

Please do not use the downstairs linen closet or the basement as they contain private property.

Here is some information to help you safely enjoy your holiday:

You will be emailed a security code for the front door. Please print it and remember it, as it is your access for the duration of your stay. You must hit the # key after entering the security code numbers.

Set the thermostat on the Monitor heater (in the living room) to your preference using the up and down arrows. It will comfortably heat the entire house.

WARNING - Any fire can be dangerous and cause serious burn injuries, carbon monoxide poisoning, and smoke damage. Use extreme caution if you choose to use the fire place or the gas grill.
Fire Place use – You will need to purchase firewood.
• Prior to starting the fire, ensure the chimney flue is fully open. Turn the damper knob on the fireplace counter-clockwise until it won’t turn any more. Visually verify by looking in the fireplace that the flue is fully open.
• Start the fire with kindling and close the safety screens and glass doors.
• When the fire is fully burned out and log grate is cool to the touch, please shut the flue by turning the damper knob on the fire place clockwise until it won’t move any further. This will keep the heat from escaping the house.
Gas Grill use – You may need to replace/refill the propane tank. The gas grill is in the outside deck storage room. The keys are in the drawer next to the refrigerator. Feel free to pull it out and use it if you like.
• Pull the gas grill out onto the deck, keeping it a safe distance from the wall of the house and the deck safety rail.
• Prior to checkout, please ensure the grill is cool to the touch, pull it back into the storage room and lock the storage room.

Prior to checking out, please:
• Set the thermostat on the Monitor heater (in the living room) to 55 degrees.
• Ensure all electric baseboard heaters are OFF! Baseboard controls are on the walls.
• Ensure all the bedroom and bathroom doors are open.
• Lock all the doors and windows.
• Start the dishwasher.
• Take all your trash, rubbish and recyclables to the central trash dumpsters, which can be found on the right as you exit the Alpine Village complex.

This is a great spot for families! There's so much to do in the area and Kyle's home is spacious and immaculately clean. There is everything you need from kitchen utensils to towels to enjoy your vacation. Alpine Village is located right in the middle of everything easy access to all that Lincoln, Woodstock, and the White Mountains has to offer I would absolutely rent this condo again

So spacious for my family and very comfortable and relaxing. Everything was well-equipped and it felt like a home away from home. The location is great and you can walk to the main street in Woodstock. Kyle, the host, was very quick with responses and awesome about getting in touch with details about check-in. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation!

I am a former middle school administrator but my family and I are now expats living in Singapore. While we love the expat lifestyle we also love coming home to New England for the holidays.
