This apartment is adorable. Original hardwood floors, white walls, clean & simple. I love the apt because it's on the upcoming East Side of town. The neighborhood is colorful, full of Charleston-style homes, close to the Ravenel bridge and the Cigar Factory (beautiful historical building) & blocks from King Street (bars and restaurants). It's in a classic Charleston "single house" with a little porch. I'm a native Charlestonian & would be happy to share the secrets of the peninsula with you!

The space

My place is great for a couple or a solo traveler. I will be in the second bedroom. Note: the porch is by the entrance to the whole apartment and not directly off of the airbnb bedroom.

Guest access

You may go anywhere in the apartment. It's small, but very comfortable. One of the bedrooms is mine, but I very much want everyone to feel at home!

Interaction with guests

NOTE: I love to have house parties and sometimes throw impromptu gatherings with friends... If you're someone who is not okay with the possibility of a party happening one of the nights you're in town, someone who needs guaranteed quietness and an early bedtime...please communicate that to me before you book. I'd prefer to host someone who's open and excited about whatever unfolds over the weekend...but let me know and I'll make sure to not invite the world over while you're staying with me.

I've used Airbnb a lot in my traveling days. It's one of my favorite ways to travel, mostly because it allows you to really feel at home in a new city. Depending on our schedules, I'm happy to hang out as much or as little as you would like! I love to cook. We could eat a meal together or I would be happy to bike around the city with you and give a little Charleston tour, for example. There are endless things to do here. It's truly a lovely city. If you prefer your space, that's certainly not a problem. I do work from home most days, so I will be in the apartment. I will mostly stay in my room and out of the way though, so you can freely use the kitchen, living room, bathroom and your bedroom as you please.

Other things to note

I speak Spanish and am always looking for opportunities to practice the language!

- Just be respectful. I work during the week and have to wake up early.
- I would LOVE if you would take off your shoes before entering. It keeps everything so much cleaner. If that's super annoying, don't worry about it haha.

Zoe's apartment was very cute and super clean and well-kept. Reasonable walking distance to King Street to walk and explore. Had a lovely time!

Zoe's apartment was fantastic! It was very clean and lovely to stay in, however it was approximately a 20 minute walk away from downtown Charleston. While we were totally fine doing the walk, it was further away than we expected.

Response from Zoe:
I'm glad you found it to be a nice place to stay. I'm so sorry the walks were longer than you expected!! I'm a walker and think it's a great way to get to know a place. Biking would have been a quick way to get around if you're looking to avoid Lyfts or Ubers. I'm also sorry I didn't get to meet y'all in person. Thanks so much again for the house-warming gift haha! (For others reading this who may be concerned about walking distances: Your best bet is to book a place in the area called South of Broad. It's picture-perfect - only catch is the price to stay there is probably 45x higher than staying higher up on the peninsula. My opinion is that, for the money, this apartment is a great deal.)

This is a super cute place within walking distance to everything. Easy walk to restaurants and the rest of downtown. Easy bridge access if you're headed to Mt. Pleasant. Really centrally located! The apartment and room are cozy and quiet, and Zoe was as nice as can be! We had a relaxing time at Zoe's place, and almost missed out on Charleston because the bed was so comfy. I would definitely stay with Zoe again.

I was born and raised in the Holy City so the salt water of the South runs in my veins. This city is magical, entrenched in history and tradition, sad in many ways but deep and rich in culture. You'll feel it when you're here. The streets are colorful, there's good food everywhere, and the people are truly the greatest. I love travel and have had amazing experiences with Airbnb. I can't wait to host you here in my hometown!
