The cabin is a cozy, real log cabin overlooking the woods, a fire circle, the meadow, our home and a vegetable garden. The location is within an easy distance to hiking trails, soccer fields, canoeing, snowmobile trails, shopping, swimming, skiing, and golfing. For a small fee there is a woodfired sauna available by special request. Snow shoes and cross country skiis are also available by special request.

The space
Some amenities include:
A queen bed in the loft, a very comfortable queen bed futon (not a sofa bed) on the main floor, and a foam mattress for extra guests.
Shower, linens and towels.
Kitchen with an island, microwave, toaster, complimentary coffee, tea, spices and vegetable oil.
A campfire ring.
Flat screen TV for DVD's. Books and games.
Cross country skiis, snowshoes and sleds are available for use in the winter.
Sauna may be available upon special request.
The cabin is air conditioned in the summer and heated with an outside wood boiler (we maintain the fire) in the winter.

Currently I teach music privately, run QuickBooks for my husband's tree business and promote healthy vitamins. I taught music and movement for 31 years in the public school setting. People and music are really important to me so one thing that I enjoy doing is hanging out around the campfire to share stories and jam!
We love to travel. We went to New Zealand again to visit my daughter and son-in-law and we just returned from serving an orphanage in Guatemala.
I have discovered the joy of growing a vegetable garden and canning the produce.
