In the interest of managing expectations for yourself as well as future guests, I would like to take this opertunity to clarify a few details.
I currently reside between 3 continents I have a security system to protect my property.
The security system are disengaged upon a guests arrival and re-engaged upon their departure.
This is the first experience of letting my home out on Air B&B or any other means.
As per the conversation that took place between Adam and my colleague Rob, specifically pointed out that there were no window treatments in the annex.
At the time of check in Adam was totally ok with that fact.
The house was professionally cleaned the day before Adam arrived and I have video footage to prove that.
However the condition of my property on departure left a lot to be desired. All I had said to Adam is please treat my place like you would treat your own home but, that's was not the case and I did dispute that with air B&B and Won.
Happy to have guest in my home who respect the fact that it's a home and enjoy it.
Hopefully this explains Adams feedback as I needed to address this without going into all the details.
