Lovely, comfortable space. Perfect for us on our quick stopover in Portland on our way to Bar Harbor. Nick and Melanie were very quick to respond (we planned this with very short notice). The cottage has lots of light and they fit everything one needs into a cozy space. Beautiful view of the water and we loved the friendly goats in their space near the cottage. We loved out short time there. Great directions on how to get into the cottage. Note, parking is just to the left of the driveway on the grass (big sign, but I was so tired when we arrived, I did not see it). Great location, very close to downtown Portland (short drive).

Beautiful setting on the water, great little house, though close to adjacent house and some road noise outside

This place is certainly worth the stay! The location is great whether you're looking to get away or be close to the action. The view of the water is wonderful and it's about a 6 minute drive to all the hip spots in Portland. Nick and Melanie are wonderful hosts who communicate early and often so that when you arrive, all you have to do is settle in and enjoy yourself. My friend and I stayed and shared the pull out couch which was no problem. Others may want to bring an air mattress along. We'll be back, that's for sure!

This is the best place I can imagine to stay around Portland! Total relaxation, gorgeous view and just a short drive into town. Very private and peaceful. Highly recommended!

Melanie and Nick's place is clean, cozy and a great place to stay while visiting Portland. We took an Uber(6-7 dollars) the first night to the old port area of Portland and drove(5-10 mins) there the next day. Both ways are very convenient.
