Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.

Park for free

This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
20ft up nesting between three sturdy oak trees this treehouse made of recycled timbers and is surrounded by trees and has glimpses of the northdowns AONB

Cosy and private set on the edge of a barley field the only sound is wind through the trees and birdsong.

Heater and double glazing makes this ideal in winter or summer, and a chemical loo in the cabin at ground level adds a creature comfort. There is an induction hob, cool box electric kettle and Bluetooth speaker and a variety of games .

The space
The treehouse is cosy with plenty of space for a couple. There is a chemical loo downstairs in a cabin, and shower etc is sometimes available in the house which is reasonably close ....
The idea was to create a relaxing space to read admire the views and enjoy quiet times alone or together. I really hope it works and so far the signs are good. There is no noise, but a village with two pubs and a restaurant just over a mile away.

Guest access
The treehouse is at the end of a large garden opening onto fields. Guests can wander through the garden and walk through the fields ( avoiding the crops please use the tramlines ). You can walk or cycle for miles and barely see a car.

Other things to note
Maybe bring some music and a bottle of something ( or buy one from me), and some walking shoes. A book. There is a BBQ and charcoal and outside seating so you may want to bring something to cook. There is a takeaway Indian restaurant in Folkestone the Cheriton Tandoori which will deliver (over £25) for free.

We will aim to provide breakfast basics milk coffee tea. Otherwise you are on your own! Enjoy we think you will.

I am a farmer and love fishing , the countryside and time with my children. Particularly pleased to be hosting a treehouse that took two years to build (slowly!) and enjoy staying there when it’s free.
