Our warm & welcoming coastal cottage comfortably sleeps four & is a short stroll to the beach in a quaint British seaside town. Styled with vintage finds this two bedroom home is perfect for couples, families and dog lovers.
Perfectly located, warm and inviting with so much on your doorstep.
Sleeps four comfortably in two bedrooms (1 large master with a king double and 1 smaller twin that can be converted into a king).
We think you will love the super comfy beds, the spacious dining room, our vintage decorative finds, coastal decor and shuttered front windows, the sunny courtyard with bbq and the freeview tv with 3D DVD player and films. We are uber family friendly with all the expected equipment (travel cot, high chair, sink step, safety sockets, upcycled colouring table with low seating, loads of toys, games, books, micro scooters, bucket and spades, fishing nets etc). We also welcome dogs too.
The cottage is situated in the picturesque Conservation Area of Deal - a mix of fisherman cottages and smugglers alleyways. The beach is a short three minute stroll away. Our award winning High Street with its independent shops selling contemporary arts, crafts and home furnishings is just around the corner and there is a good choice of restaurants, wine bars and coffee shops very close by.
For those new to Deal, Deal is on the East Kent coast and essentially is an unspoilt British seaside town. There is so much to do here including exploring the beautiful shoreline, coastal and countryside walks, visiting the two castles built by Henry VIII, golfing opportunities, seal spotting and some lovely beach front pubs.
We are easy to reach by car or train from London (approx 1 hour and 20 mins from St Pancras) and just twenty minutes from the port of Dover. There is 2 hour free on street parking outside the cottage (for longer parking there is a pay & display car park just around the corner). From 5.30pm until 8.30am there are no parking restrictions or on a Sunday.
Weekend and mid week breaks also available.
You will have the entire cottage to yourself to enjoy. We offer early arrival and late check outs where possible.
Interaction with guests
My home is a five minute drive away so it is easy for me to reach the cottage should the need arise. I can be contacted by phone should you have any questions regarding the best place to lay a picnic basket, where the latest pop up art gallery is or where to buy the best coffee in town.
Other things to note
We supply starter suppliers of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets and provide basic condiments. All towels, linen and tea towels are provided. There will also be a welcome cake/biscuits or bottle of wine depending on length of stay.
The cottage is no smoking (smoking in the courtyard outside is permitted). Well behaved dogs are allowed. Please respect the neighbours and keep noise levels at an acceptable level thanks.
We have furnished our cottage with love for our guests enjoyment and satisfaction. In return, we ask you to take reasonable care of the property and to leave it in the condition you found it in. Report any any damage or problems as soon as possible in order for it to be rectified.
No liability is accepted for any loss, damage, sickness or injury to guests or invited persons or any car or its contents or any possession. This applies to any bikes which may be stored in the courtyard. We recommend guests have their own holiday insurance to cover all of the above plus cancellation should you have to cancel.
Complete lover of living by the sea. I have created a beautiful seaside holiday cottage for you to enjoy and to give you a taste of coastal living. My home is only a few minutes drive away and I'm always contactable by phone so should you need any advice on where to eat, places to visit or where to lay a picnic blanket simply ask.
