Response from Gabrielle:
Thanks for you honesty Helena, but you have to admit that when you take a AirBnb it's not the same conditions as in a 75$ per night hotel room.. I definitely agree with you, that even cheapest rooms have to be clean, as it was! But sorry my flat isn't an hospital! We have a dog and two children as it is written in my announce! These parameter has to be kept in mind, but maybe you didn't understand the text I wrote because it was in french.
For your concern the morning you arrived I went later to my job to clean the bathroom and prepare your room (new sheets, put away the dust, clean the floor) I am sorry if it wasn't enough good for you and yes I forgot to let you towels. In any case I am not ashamed of how clean was the room.
I had great contacts with previous guests. To be truly transparent with you, some of them indicate in private that the bathroom could have been cleaner and I am agree with them. The bathroom is not the best room in this flat and we don't take enough time this year to deeply clean it but the private room was always relatively clean. Here the word "relatively" is important, if you want pure white javelized sheets, make definitely a reservation in an hotel room.
Have a great end of trip in Québec and please think twice before doing a AirBnb reservation.
