Benedict Haid Farm is a family-owned business open, mostly for weddings, for the past 30 years. It features a large, historic 1860s hand-hewn log home on 400-acres, adjoining 10,000 acres of undeveloped corporate property.

This is a nice place to get away for a while, or host a small retreat. The nearest commercial building is six miles away. :-)

The space
The property was built by Benedict Haid and was later used as a Girl Scout camp in the mid-20th Century. Benedict Haid Farm is mostly used as a wedding destination.

It has two bedrooms and a sun room with queen size sleeper, and 1 1/2 baths. Living room and dining room each with fireplace. Gas heat, A/C, and all modern conveniences like a gas grill. Huge heated attached deck with outside fireplace and hot tub. Free firewood.
