Beautiful interior designed Penthouse apartment, of 150 square metres, overlooking the marina and views over Dalt villa, ibiza town. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - Very large terrace of about 130 square metres with sofas and sun chairs. Perfect for a couple or a small family. Not suitable for party groups as this is my actual home, not a rental flat and my furnishings have been carefully picked over the years!:)

The space

The gorgeous views and incredible sunsets will blow your mind. The flat is sunny and spacious and there is a swimming pool overlooking Talamanca beach. The very large terrace at the top with a romantic seating area under a gazebo, wonderful to have a drink and watch the sun going down behind Ibiza town.

Guest access

Guests can access all 3 beds and all the rest of apartment, use the communal pool and the terrace.

Interaction with guests

I might not be in Ibiza but I will leave my cleaner with keys and also a friend who lives near by in case there is an emergency. You will be able to reach me by phone and email.

Other things to note

My cleaner comes 2-3 times a week - she charges 10 euros per hour and usually cleans the apartment in 3 hours. If you like her to come more often, you can arrange with her. 5 hours of cleaning is included. There are plants everywhere inside and outside that might need watering during your stay - if you are unable to water the plants, let me know so I can ask the cleaner to come every 2 days and water them.

Absolutely superb location and views. The apartment is also even more spacious than it appears in the photos in the listing.

Cleyenne's property on the face of it is beautiful and well located. However, a significant number of issues arose that were not addressed in a timely manner. We had no air conditioning for 3 days in 35+ degrees heat which resulted in 3 nights of hell. Cleyenne's advice was not to stay in and go to the beach (!), although the issue was night time which led to sleeping on the living room floor on mattresses with the french doors open. Painters being present throughout most of our stay, beginning their work at 7am outside bedroom windows, making the balcony and roof terrace unusable, roping off the staircase leading to the 'private' roof terrace, and a huge lack of regard or privacy. Remnants of their lunch, and coke cans etc, were left all week hidden behind deck chairs even when instructed to remove their belongings. Disappointingly, we were not informed by Cleyenne about their presence and this hugely took away from one the most attractive selling points of the property. In sum, it was a constant battle with them and thus we felt hugely short changed. Cleyenne claimed she did not know about the painting situation but even so, we felt this abrogated all responsibility and accountability, making every day a constant battle and almost our responsibility to manage the renovations in the flat whilst facing a difficult language barrier and heated arguments. We felt there should have been more management here and frankly the lack of presence of the owner should not mitigate accountability for the problems caused, especially when her cleaner was used as the go-between whilst speaking no English. Keys - We only had one set between 6 of us, members of our party thus locked out regularly, since one set was required at the pool. Cleyenne lacked a basic welcome booklet with instructions on how to use the flat and the appliances - recycling, wifi etc, close-by shops and facilities, how to use the dryer, (which was full of lint and had not been emptied- an obvious fire hazard). Also there was a lot of smelly washing just left in the washing machine. A lack of hot water on the first night led to cold showers which we eventually fixed ourselves. Cleaning - Cleyenne advertises 5 hours of cleaning included in our stay. However, Cleyenne's housekeeper asked for payment from us after we used her services for 2 hours (less than what was included). This situation was embarrassing and clearly poor communication and lack of clear direction from the owner. I would like to add we chose this place primarily for the privacy of it, however this unfortunately was far from adequate to address our needs. Upon consulting Cleyenne she was initially dismissive of our concerns but eventually agreed to refund us £616 which we still feel is inadequate to the £2782 that we spent on this property for 7 nights. They asked for 700 Euros refund during their stay and I sent them immediately. Unfortunately when tourists travel abroad, they must remember that they might deal with people who do not speak English. And my cleaner happens to only speak Spanish. I do not have another home in Ibiza, so if I rent out my own, that means I have to move out and travel, therefore I must leave the apartment to the care of locals ( who are mostly Spanish, as flat is located in Spain). 2780 pounds divided by 7 days, then divided by 6 people - You paid exactly 65 pounds per person to stay in a penthouse with 3 beds and 3 baths in Ibiza in AUGUST. That is before I offer you refund for having had AC problems and the painters who were working around the terrace. With the discount, you and your family paid 50 pounds per person. I will leave to others to judge if it is cheap or expensive for a family of 6 in a 1600 square feet comfortable flat in August. Some people do not understand that AIRBNB is mostly someone's home, not an agency. I live in that apartment when it is not rented out. How am I going to be in Ibiza to take care of guests, I can not take up a hotel. It is not a hotel where people will speak many languages and cater. Keys could have been supplied but it would require you to ask me or cleaner ( you could haven shown her keys, in case you could not find the Spanish word for it) or just called/email/texted me.
