We had a lovely stay over NYE. The house is really lovely with a huge kitchen and lots of snug spaces to keep warm by log fire. The beds are unbelievably comfy and the family bathroom and en-suite bathrooms are great! Lynn is an exceptional host, she left us lots of homemade good…

Lynn's house is warm, spacious and very comfortable. We were a group of 6 adults and 3 children - the kids loved having the horses around, and there were some good walks nearby. Lynn was lovely at all times. Hot water was a major issue, though. We only got 4 (quick) showers each …

Response from Lynn:
We apologise profusely for the boiler fault that arose on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately our plumber was away for the weekend & we were unable to get an emergency plumber on Sat evening when first made aware of this. I was contacted by one of the guests and he was especially helpful and understanding. We had a plan B to switch to the Aga heating the water overnight on Sat & I understood this worked very well with plenty of hot water for Sunday morning. Sadly I did not meet or have any contact with Nisha during the whole stay and am disappointed to learn that guests were boiling kettles as this had not been communicated to me. To thank the guests for their understanding we gave an extended checkout for the house to teatime on Sunday (from the scheduled 12:00). We were pleased the guests appreciated the fresh flowers and home baking that had been left for them together with the wonderful verbal feedback we received on checkout. The plumber replaced the boiler faulty return valve on Monday morning so we are fully up and running !!
