Great check-in experience95% of recent guests gave this home’s check-in process a 5-star rating.

Gee Creek Wilderness Lodge was built by one local woodworker with a master vision for beauty and peace. Located along winding Gee Creek, the wilderness of the Cherokee National Forest is in the very structure of this home, as well as beyond its front porch.
The Lodge is just minutes away from whitewater sports on both the Hiwassee and Ocoee Rivers, and other attractions include access to miles of horse back riding and biking trails, pristine hiking, and the best trout fishing in the Southeast!

Nice central location. Impressive woodworking in a secluded location. Paved road to property with gravel driveway. Charlotte was very responsive to communications.

Great for a peaceful retreat from the craziness of daily life. Secluded but not far from local attractions.

The chalet was easy to find and in a peaceful location. The swimming hole was a relaxing hike away.

Great space, plenty of porches and close to the Ocoee river, should you want to go White Water Rafting like we did. Very clean, the property pups were really friendly and everyone loved the space.

The woodwork was thoughtful and impressive. Definitely nothing else like it. Very original and gives a true cabin experience.

This place was awesome! Definitely favoriting it for future stays. It rained everyday we were there, so we didn’t get to go in the trails nearby, but the cabin was cozy enough and the screened porch made a good place to play games and read while it was raining.
