A small pueblo style home, we are set in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of Nob Hill, close to the university and only 15 minutes from the Airport. We are walking distance from lots of great restaurants, cafes and night life. Downtown, old town and the Rio Grande are only a 5 min drive west and the Sandia mountains can be accessed within a 20 min drive to the east. A great central home base for all of Albuquerque's attractions.
Lots of light, quiet and comfortable. The room has a small office space including a desk and monitor. We have a beautiful screened in patio facing west so you can relax and watch the sunset. We have an indoor gas fireplace for those cooler, cozy evenings and an outdoor fire place for hanging around during warm summer nights. Guests are welcome to use all of the houses facilities including our full kitchen and laundry.
As is common in Albuquerque, our air-conditioning system is a swamp cooler. It is important to note that to properly cool a space during heat spells, the door to your room must be at least partially open.
Guests have access to all areas of the house.
Interaction with guests
My wife or I are usually around weekdays after 5pm and most weekends when were not off hiking or camping. We are more than willing to answer any questions guests might have about the area and things to do. We would love to take the time to show guests around as well (if we are available), and help with transport around the city if needed.
