Pros: The home is beautiful, quiet and immaculate. Check-in is smooth and simple. Carol (Host) is pleasant and friendly. Cons: The room is very small with very limited space to hang clothes and no drawers to store clothes. Bed is old, not comfortable and squeaks at every movemen…

Response from Barry:
Heber has an elevation of 5,400+ feet so we’re cooler than the Salt Lake and Utah valleys. There is air conditioning on the 3rd floor and during the day and evening the cooler air moves down to keep the 2nd and 1st floors, with their 18” thick stone walls, cool. There are ceiling fans in all the bedrooms that move that cool air through the rooms; however, the bedroom door does have be opened at least 2 to 3 inches while occupied. Between 10 and 11PM the outside air temperature is lower (55 to 65 degrees), and we encourage guest to open their room windows and enjoy the fresh cool air. By 10AM, the next day, the windows should be closed again so the air conditioning can keep the house cool during the day. The Blue room has two closet areas, which Cindy may not have realized, one in the room with 19” of hanging space, and one across from the private bathroom just outside the bedroom door, which has two 29” long hanging spaces and shelving. Surprised by the comments about the bed and the bathroom size, they are a first by a guest of the Blue room.

We were visiting our new granddaughter so all we needed was a place to sleep and shower and the Blue Room fit that bill. The rooms have a side entrance so we came and went without disturbing the household. Great value and location.

This place is great! Carol and Barry are so nice, and the house is unique and beautifully decorated. I didn't even realize until we got there how close it is to attractions - Heber City Main street (restaurants, shops) is literally a 5 minute walk, and the Heber railroad (Heber C…
