For those of you who are not interested in loads of space, we offer a small (14 sqm) but cosy and well equipped studio for your stay in Rome. We have renovated a former wash house and transformed it into a modern and refined pied à terre with a hydro massage shower and usb wall ports, your comfort being our main concern. Our studio is located in Villa Certosa, a friendly neighborhood (almost a small town) in Rome, 15 mins by bus from Termini Station and 10 mins on foot from the popular Pigneto.

The space

The former wash house (years ago the residents used to wash their own laundry by hand) is now a small and extremely well furnished studio ideal for single travelers who appreciate and respect a space that has been studied and decorated with love.

There is a comfortable bed (with many pillows), a desk (with the Lonely Planet guidebook in English), and a well equipped kitchenette (with induction hob, sink, mini fridge, and small electric oven). The bathroom has a small shower bidet and a hydromassage shower with radio/mp3. And, of course, we provide airconditioning, autonomous heating, wifi and usb wall ports.

You will find all that is necessary to prepare and enjoy breakfast on your own during your stay: coffee, tea and organic brown sugar, bread, jam, and butter, organic milk, juice, free range eggs and cereal.

Guest access

The entire house is at your exclusive disposal

Interaction with guests

When you arrive we will be there to greet you and to give you any information you may need about the studio, the neighborhood and how to move around in Rome. And if you have any other questions we live literally around the corner so we will always be available for any need...this is the good part about having us nearby! At your departure we will pass by to say "ciao" and collect the keys.

Sandra and Alessandro's place was more than just perfect, like 120% satisfaction rate from me. They decorated the house so pretty and I could see they care about guests in every aspect (breakfast was so tasty!). They welcomed me and gave me local information just as needed upon arrival. I had a pleasant time there, the area was quiet and I liked the local atmosphere. Oh, I especially liked the high tech shower with Italian radio in the house too!! :) Grazie ragazzi, hope to see you again one day!

Alessandro and Sandra were the best airbnb experience ever! I'm was so tired when coming to rome after Venice Biennale and felt like i was returning to Mama! Alessandro and Sandra send me before the location super detailed information concerning my late arrival, they welcomed me and showed me everything. And the had food prepared (fuck yeah!!) so the super near 24/7 supermarket wasn't even necessary! When you go there you will fall in love the the house, the hosts and Roma. Highlight of my year ♡

Alessandro and Sandra's place was perfect for two! The apartment is small but very well designed with a lovely bathroom and kitchen in addition to the adorable decor. The host also provided food that was a lovely breakfast. The location is not very central but there is a tram that makes it easy to get to Termini station and from there main attractions such as the colosseum are only a twenty minute walk.

Alessandro and Sandra are just lovely!! Super helpful in offering information about how to get around and recommendations about where to go in Rome. I was confused as to how to get to their place as they live off of the local metro as opposed to the regional metros that are inside of Termini Station (essentially the equivalent of what the subway is to NYC compared to a metro north or LIRR train). Once I figured out that they were off of the yellow local metro line (thanks to the help of the wonderful Sandra) I was all good to go! The apt is lovely and perfect for one person. All the appliances look and feel brand new. Very comfortable. There is a local train that goes by often so if you're a very light sleeper I might just inquire about that, but I didn't even notice I slept so soundly. Would definitely visit here again!

I couldn't dream of a better place to stay as a solo traveller. Despite there being so much to see in Rome, I actually found myself spending a lot of time in the apartment because I enjoyed the space so much. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Alessandro, Sandra is very kind and generous and this was truly the best AirBnb experience I have had so far. Public transport is very easy to use in order to reach central Rome, and the apartment is an amazing value because it is BRAND NEW--the appliances, the shower, and the beautiful decoration deserves recognition as well. I know who I will be getting in touch with when I return to Rome ;)

What a nice place! Everything you could need to feel cozy and at home is here. The bed is comfy, the wifi is fast, and some groceries are provided for breakfast. Really warm and welcoming hosts who go above and beyond to make it an amazing stay. Close to a 24hr grocery store and to public transportation.
