We had a great time in Itamar's home. We loved the spacious house and the garden. It is very convenient for adults and for children with books and toys inside and outside. The house is in a good location, it is located in a beautiful street in the peaceful town of Pardes Hanna-Karkur, not far from a small shopping center and a grocery. It is a short driving distance from amazing beaches in Caesarea and the area. Itamar and his wife were very responsive and very delightful to help on every need. We are happy to give a good recommendation!

The stay at Itamar's place was not a good experience. Itamar told us that they have some cats and that one if them stays most of the time within the house. So the first night we stayed at the place we let it sleep within the house. We didn't realize yet that the cats are street cats that they have adopted, so the first morning while we were preparing breakfast the cat jumped on the table and grabbed the pastrama. We were surprised, but decided to take it with a laugh. We laughed a little less when we realized that during the night the cat had urinated on on of the bags that we have left on a couch the previous night. The worst part came days after leaving the house when Itamar wrote a letter asking for economic reparation for the smelling couch. Apparently we paid them in order to make the maintenance of their house while they were on vacation. But that's not all. Let me continue: That same first morning, one of the kids sat on a low chair that had in the middle of their living room. The chair collapsed under him and he fell on his back. A simple inspection revealed that the chair was very old and already broken before (the parts have been simply assembled together ), but again Itamar didn't hesitate to ask for an economic reparation. Indeed, the full house is equipped with very old furniture. They publish their house as able to accomodate till six visitors, but there are only three beds. One of us got sleep on the floor. The shower is obdurate and the water doesn't flow. They don't have wifi as they publish. Well they have but during the whole stay they were unable to provide a successful password. And now let me finish with the best part: they demanded that on the last day we shall leave at 9:00 am in order to allow them to clean the place for new visitors. Of course, we complied, leaving their place in a hurry. We have cleaned the place the day before, but that morning didn't have time to clean again the shower and the kitchen. Yet we didn't worry since we had paid a service fee of 300 shekels, enough in Israel for 5-6 hours of cleaning. The big surprise came when they claimed for extra payment for the cleaning service.
