Interaction with guests
We love to personally meet each guests and share the aloha spirit. In case you didn't know, in Hawaii, we hug a lot. So, if you reach out to shake someone's hand don't be surprised if you get a big hug in return. After meeting you initially and giving you a brief tour, this lovely home is yours to enjoy.
The quaint town of Pepeekeo is so close to Hilo yet miles away from everything. Expansive views of the ocean and Mauna Kea make us stop and gaze daily. The sights, smells and sounds of the island never grow old.
Most guests will prefer to have a car available to tour the island. The inn is a short 12 minute drive from Hilo, 45 minutes to Waimea and about 2 hours from Kona. It is the BIG ISLAND after all.
Other things to note

Enjoy postcard like views of not only the beautiful ocean but also Mauna Kea at its towering 13,796 feet, tropical birds and a view of the stars unlike anything you have ever encountered. Be our guests and see why the Old Sugar Mill Plantation Inn plays a big part in making Hawai'i no ka 'oi (The Best)
