VERY quiet. The traffic is very light. The Douglas Family Preserve is a 78-acre nature preserve on the cliffs overlooking the ocean and Hendry's beach. Surf in the summer is often flat, but if you have the patience, there are always small beach break waves.

At this time, I work from home as a scientific and engineering consultant in a detached office. I try to be available as the need arises. My wife is retired, and we sometimes stay at her place and sometimes at mine.
