The cottage overlooks Llyn Clywedog Reservoir & is near to the Hafren Forest, great for short & long walks around the River Severn, where the longest river in the UK starts!

This stunning oak framed farm house is set on a hillside, over looking the surrounding Welsh countryside. Originally dating back to 1600’s with some original features remaining, the cottage has been renovated to a high standard.
A large spacious living room, with leather sofas surrounding the large inglenook fireplace & wood burner.

The cottage sleeps up to 6 guests (plus an infant in a travel cot), in a king size bedroom (space for travel cot), twin room (2 single beds) & a double room with private en-suite.

Families very welcome, (many bring the grandparents!) also ideal for couples, friends & small groups. NO PETS.

Large dining area, luxury leather seating areas, with a seperate snug room for children to play with toys, watch smart TV, reading etc.

Large parking area & patio with comfortable seating for alfresco dining & a BBQ.
Stunning views over the valley towards Llyn Clywedog Resevoir.

Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, iron, range cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer & lots of storage.

Underfloor heating & a large easy to use log burner with logs supplied. Solar panels help to run some of the electricity used.

Our cows & sheep are in the fields surrounding the cottage on our farm.

Red Kites flying over to & from their nearby nest. A variety of owls, buzzards & Osprey (March-September) at Llyn Clywedog.
Great for wildlife spotting.

Llanidloes town centre is a 3 mile drive, with lots to see & do. Local shops & a weekly Saturday street market with some wonderful homemade delights to warm your taste buds; for some fabulous cooking in our well equipped kitchen.

A selection of newly opened in 2021 restaurants, pubs & cafe’s if you fancy eating out for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Paddle boarding & canoeing is available at Clywedog reservoir for individuals & groups!

We regularly welcome guests who are attending Weddings at nearby Glyngynwydd Wedding Barns & Plas Dinam Country House.
Llyn Clywedog Trout Fishery, one of the top fisheries in the country, just a short drive from us.

Bring your bikes to try out some of the hills & routes in Mid Wales! There are some new pump tracks popping up at Rhayader & Bwlch Nant Yr Arian.
We have lockable secure storage.

Also on offer for walkers is The Glyndwrs Way, The Severn Way & The Source of the River Severn (taking you to the very start of the UK’s longest river).
Many other short walks also available for families.

Stunning skies to look for stars; we’re in the Wales Dark Skies area. An area within the Cambrian Mountains spoilt for choice with special places.

Llanidloes has a Sports Centre with a well equipped gym, 16m swimming pool, squash & tennis courts.

We are 35 miles from Aberystwyth & the Seaside.
Bwlch Nant Yr Arian Red Kite Centre for kite feeding, walks, biking, pump track, play park & a cafe.

Short drives to Elan Valley Resevoir & visitor centre near Rhayader (visitor centre, cafe, shorts walks, bike hire & play park).

National Trust Powis Castle in Welshpool, with its amazing tea rooms & gardens. Look out for the peacocks!

Nearby Llanidloes, is the first town on the River Severn, which is the longest River in the UK! You can walk to its source in the Plynlimon mountains.

The area is so welcoming, everyone is friendly and always willing to help.

We are a hardworking family, working as husband & wife on our farm. We have cows & sheep across 350 acres. We have 2 children who like to be outdoors 24/7! We are born and bred in Llanidloes, so have lots of local knowledge!
In our spare time we like to take the children out, meet up with family, go on walks and eat out!
