I am very disappointed about your awful and very unfair feedback. Myself and Daniel my co-host were available throughout the weekend to help you and were far from rude or discourteous to you, but always trying to help. We communicated by calls, texts and yes sometimes by (Hidden by Airbnb) – which is often the preferred route for our international guests. You advised us on Saturday morning of the water issue, not on Friday when you arrived. Our Cleaner attended on Saturday and said the power switch was off and we thought that rectified the issue. When you returned back in the evening, after a few calls between yourself, myself and Daniel (my approved co-host), we realised the water pump had developed a fault – something that had never happened before. These are not fixable, but need to be ordered and fitted which can take a few days. Hence we could not fix instantly when you needed showers as you required.
The next day you were leaving, and as a gesture of goodwill we offered you 1 nights reduction from the 2 nights stay and a 6 hour late check out. Apart from the water issue – which was beyond our control, our apartment is a lovely apartment and has been well suited to the many many guests we have looked after over the last year from all around the world. You have demanded a full refund, but still made full use of our facilities for your large party, and so we have incurred costs, hence our final offer of 1 nights refund of a 2night booking. The costs we also faced of a €1,000 replacement pump is also a hard one to face!
