Interaction with guests
We will most likely not be around during your stay. Depending on the time of year. During summer months we will occasionally come to our property to change out equipment for our business. We will never come into the house, just our carport and barn. We will only be on the property for a short time, changing out work equipment and getting water for our work duties, we own and operate a vegetation management firm. You may see us pull the hose out and fill a landscaping tank, but then we will be gone. Our host will accommodate any reasonable request you may have. If you have any issues or concerns, please, let our host know right away, so the concern may be addressed. We want you to enjoy and relax during your stay here, and are willing to help out in any way. Feel free to ask our host about food and fun recommendations.
Our log home is nestled in a secluded area just past the hustle and bustle of Reserve St. We are 5 minutes to dining, movies, and shopping. We are 10 minutes from downtown Missoula and the airport. Our acre has great views of the Missoula valley. Our driveway is a private drive with only 3 homes on it. So we have lots of privacy here. You will see lots of birds, some deer, foxes, eagles, and many waterfowl as Grant creek runs just past the property. Our property is close to the Clark fork river, great for floating and fishing. We have lots of great hiking trails just minutes from the cabin.
The Missoula public bus system runs back and forth from Target. Which is 5 minute drive away. You can also ride bikes on bike trails once you get past reserve street. Cabs and delivery of any kind will come to the cabin.
Other things to note
We have pets! A dog and a cat. They are outside animals. Our dog will not be present during your stay. However, our cat, Leonardo D' Catrio (Lenny) will be on site. He is our resident mouser and takes his job very seriously. He has a warm bed and food in our barn and is fed by our host. You may never see him, but if you do, you are welcome to say Hello and give him a good pet. Otherwise there is no obligation to him. Our host will make sure he is tended to. Please understand that for stays longer than a week, our host will come by every 5 or 6 days to replenish his feeder. Please do not rent our home if you are opposed to Lenny Cat being on the property.
Prior to booking approval we will ask you to sign our RENTAL AGREEMENT. Upon your booking request we will email you a copy of the RENTAL AGREEMENT, once we receive the signed agreement back, we will approve your reservation.
No smoking and no pets, please.
All outside buildings and carport are off limits to guests. Our neighbors are pretty laidback, but please no parties! Please respect our home and let our host know if something goes wrong immediately.
All we ask is that you run the dishwasher before you check out, and turn off lights when you leave.
We love our little house, and we hope you will too!

I live in Missoula with my wonderful family! We own a small business in the plant science field. In the winters the plants are dead in Montana so we travel!! My husband Nick and I, along with our two daughters are learning a second language (Spanish) and are learning so much about the world outside the US. We love to spend our free time on the water; rafting, fishing, or scuba diving! MT has our hearts, but we love to seek out new adventures during our time off.
Our little cabin is oh so cozy and situated at the end of a private drive on one acre just past the hustle and bustle of Reserve St. in Missoula, Montana! We have extensive gardens, raise chickens and love our little homestead and we hope you will enjoy it too!
