A beautiful, bright, spacious apartment in the heart of Greenpoint. Hidden down a quiet, tree-lined street, 2 minute walk from the grocery store and a 10 minute walk to the G or the L train you can walk to Greenpoint shops, Bushwick or Williamsburg. Malwina is lovely and was there to welcome us upon our arrival. The space is huge with everything you need. Although it did not affect my stay as I was mainly outdoors, the wifi has a slow connection so could be an issue if trying to do work online. Aside from that, a fantastic stay!
Malwina was a terrific host and the location was great. She was very kind and accommodating and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. The apartment however was not as clean as I would have expected it to be, the building was undergoing construction which was not communicated and the internet connection was mediocre at best which was not ideal when I had to get some work done.
I recently had a pleasant stay at this apartment. It was clean, spacious, light-filled, and conveniently located. In a previous review, someone mentioned that there was only one bath towel provided. I found 3 large towels -- one in the larger bedroom and 2 hanging on the towel rack in the bathroom. It is the case that the smaller bedroom sits between the larger one and the sole bathroom, but that wasn't that big of an issue for us, but something to consider for couples or other people who might not like that setup. Other than that, check-in was really easy and Malwina was very responsive during the entire process.
Lovely spot. Lots of natural light and open space. Easy check in and check out. Great coffee and food spots nearby. Only thing that could've enhanced the trip would be extra towels (only 1 available) and a wine opener, but those are obviously small things. Would definitely stay here again!
Malwina is extremely responsive, which is great. The apartment itself is quite large and well located in Greenpoint. It is somewhat sparsely furnished (no sofa or couch, for example). This wasn't a big deal for us, but be aware that there are no curtains in the main bedroom, so the sun will wake you if you're a light sleeper. One issue is that it is a "shotgun apartment", with the rooms arranged one behind the other and the door and bathroom at one end of the apartment. That means that the only way to get from the main bedroom to the bathroom is to go through the second bedroom. We had had two separate problems with the internet; the first got fixed by rebooting the router (which is in another apartment), while the second required rebooting the extender (which is in this apartment). Malwina was very responsive in dealing with these problems, and once they got fixed, the internet was quite fast and reliable.
