This was my very first AirBnB stay. I am very happy I choose this place. When we got to the house, I was met and given a tour. Once it was determined that I was ok, the keys were turned over to me and my vacation started.
The house was great, and let me tell you, Antony does not due it justice with his review. The house is huuuge. I travel to NY every year and this was the first time, I felt my party was not on top of each other.
There are four bed rooms with a total of 5 beds. The downstairs has one window AC unit in the common space and one in the downstairs bed room. There was plenty of sitting space in the common area with two large sectional couches and a giant dinning table. There was also a half bathroom downstairs along will a full kitchen. They offered up anything that was in the kitchen which had snack foods in the cabinet. (We did not eat any though) There are plenty of cups, plates, shot glasses, a coffee maker, large cold fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. The dishwasher is so quite I had to open it twice to make sure it was working.
The downstairs room had a closet full of blankets, pillows, and small fans if needed. The AC in that room was not working on arrival but a quick message to Anthony took care of that right away.
The upstairs rooms each had their own window AC unit also. There is also a washer and dryer along with a full bathroom. One room had a very large walk in closet.
If you don't want the hustle of the city, this place if for you. I did not feel worried at all my entire stay. It is located about a 5 to 10 minute walk from central park along with the nearest subways. The local bars and food on 2nd and 3rd were awesome.
With the exception of some very very minor maintenance work on the place (and I am picky cause I work in the hotel business) this place is a steal. My next trip to NY, I hope this place is open cause it does not matter if its just me or the 6 I had with me on this trip.... I will book again!
