Private room in a shared apartment, 14th district of Paris, 5 minutes by foot to Denfert Rochereau (the Catacombs), easy public transportation to airports / Chambre privée dans un appartement partagé, 14ème arrondissement de Paris, 5 minutes à pied de Denfert Rochereau (les Catacombes), transports faciles aux aéroports
You will stay in a private room in a shared 3 bedroom apartment. In one room, there will be my flatmate in his own bedroom, and in the other there will be AirBnB guests from a separate listing.
In your room, there are plenty of shelves and cupboards for storage, and the room has its own terrace. There is a single bed but also a floor mattress for a second person if needed. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a kettle, a coffee machine, a blender, a microwave, an oven, and a washing machine. We have speakers in the kitchen where you can plug in your music and enjoy a nice ambiance.
The bedroom is my own but has been emptied except for the closet, so everything else other than that is completely at your disposal. The bathroom and kitchen are shared, we just ask that you clean up after yourself in those areas. There is storage space available for you in the bathroom as well as in the fridge. You are welcome to use the hair dryer and clothes iron in the bedroom, as well as all the kitchen equipment/appliances. Clean towels and bed sheets are provided, as well as light refreshments (coffee, tea, etc).
Interaction with guests
I will be staying nearby so I will be doing the check in/check out, and I will be available to give you any help you need, including tourism advice (I actually work in tourism and speaking English, Spanish, and French). If not, my flatmate whose bedroom is to the right of yours will be there and more than happy to help. We normally are students that live in this apartment so we are very friendly and enjoy meeting travellers and chatting with them over a tea in the kitchen!
Other things to note
There may be a time where I will also be staying in the apartment in one of the other rooms. In this case, I can arrange with you to always be home when you need to enter, as I will need to keep the key to re-enter when coming back from work. I only ever work 2-3 hours at a time so this should not be a problem.
