Here at Les Hirondelles, we cater exclusively for adults, who want tranquility and to experience rural France.
The Stables is a beautifully converted barn with polished wood floors, open beams and stone walls. It is set on two floors, the downstairs having a large shower room (double shower) and a huge open-plan living dining area. There are double doors leading to an enclosed courtyard, tables & chairs and BBQ area. There are two bedrooms, one king-sized and a twin.

We are near the local market town of Aigre, with its weekly morning markets on Sunday and Thursday.

The local town of Rouillac, a 15 min drive away, hosts a spectacular market on the 27th of every month. This takes over the entire town and sells everything from food to tools, clothes to livestock. Worth a visit.

The nearby town of Angouleme is a 30min drive away with a large choice of bars, restaurants and shops.

The historic town of Cognac is 30mins drive away and you can arrange visits to tour one of the many cognac houses and have a tasting session.

The cities of La Rochelle and Bordeaux are a little further afield at 95minute drives. Well worth a visit.
