Book Robert's airbnb with the understanding that it is a casita and you will have a good experience. The mountain views from the front porch were truly incredible and there were lots of entertaining prairie dogs running around out front. Felt a bit more like glamping than an airbnb but it was good for a one-night stay.

It's really reclusive. The sunset view among Taos mountains is amazing.

It is a simple, small, but cozy place with nice views from the front porch. I took an early morning walk along the paved road that overlooks the valley and that was very nice. This is a no frills place, but it was fine for our needs.

Robert is a meticulous communicator and gracious host. His space is half of an older adobe house, simply furnished and afforded us one of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen in New Mexico. The openness of the location is refreshing and allows for peace and contemplation. The murphy bed worked fine for us, and we liked the mini-kitchen set up for breakfast. A small microwave would be a nice addition. If you are prone to allergies, please note that the old wood floor has a strong smell upon arrival, but once you open the door and window, it helps. We were thankful for a fan in the room. The shower stall is small, and if you are short, the spray will hit you squarely in the face and there is little you can do about it. There is a very entertaining prairie dog community not too far from the front deck, and a nice family of quail. We spent a lot of time sitting on the chairs there, and greatly enjoyed the views. It was nice to have a TV in the room, as we watched an old "Pink Panther" movie. No wifi, but it's always good to unplug for awhile, isn't it? This neighborhood is such a different aspect of Taos -- above the din, and we have stayed in at least a dozen different places in Taos over the years.
