The space
The Podere Sanripoli B&B can accommodate up to 8 people in two rooms, offering an ideal solution for large groups, such as families with children. The guests are surrounded only by nature: olive trees, mulberry trees, acacias, cypresses, holm oaks and silence, creating a peaceful and serene environment for everyone.

We are the hosts Andrea and Gabriella and we live in this same house. Guests have access to several rooms: two triples with shared bathroom and one double with private bathroom. In addition, there is a breakfast room, a recreation room, and large outdoor spaces with farmyards and green areas to fully enjoy nature. Guests can take advantage of a large car park, access to the garden, breakfast and dining room with fireplace, as well as the recreation room and library.

Where is the name of B&B Podere Sanripoli from? The term "farm" was born with the late medieval application, that is, the formation of foundational units whose size had to guarantee the subsistence of the family that cultivated the land. In the chronicle of colonies and farms of the second half of the 16th century it was called "Sarripoli", within the "people of S. Andrea in Montespertoli". In 1600 the farm is also reported in the documents of administration of the assets of the rector Giovan Francesco Ciferi. The architectural and territorial development of today, with the cultivation of the olive tree and the road system, has origins at the end of 1700 and is clearly visible - with the name of the street and the farm - in the road of the municipal historical archive of 1820. Even today, the Bed and Brekfast Podere Sanripoli is in Via San Ripoli, which for centuries has been a reference for access to Via Volterrana south of the "Castello di Montespertoli" (as the town center was called) and has always played an important role in connecting the villa of Gigliola with the village, to the bottom of the valley water springs and the lands cultivated along the Bartaluccio river. During the 19th century, Sanripoli was one of the 22 properties of the estate of Gigliola and housed a farmhouse with farm annexes. the land extends today as then for about 3 hectares grown with olive groves and is located on a hill in the center of the valley south of the capital of Montespertoli. It is symmetrically divided into two areas by the nearby street, today called "Via San Ripoli".
