*Discounted dates due to last minute cancellation from 1st- 14th August!* A unique opportunity to stay on a characterful converted Dutch Barge moored next to Kew Bridge, Richmond, minutes walk from world-renowned Kew Gardens and 35 mins from central London's Waterloo by train. Enjoy a comfortable living space surrounded by nature. Seahorse is moored on a secure pontoon, with a spacious deck and beautiful views. Picturesque Strand on the Green, with pubs and river views, is just 5 minutes away.

The space
Seahorse is 27 metres long and 4.5 metres wide- spacious enough for a family or group of friends to enjoy. It has an open plan living room/ kitchen area with TV, wi-fi, cooker, grill, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

For enjoying time with friends and family there is a large wheelhouse with dining table and big windows. In the summer months you can enjoy the large deck with gorgeous views over the Thames.

The main cabin has a king-size bed and freestanding roll-top bath. There is a cosy single cabin which has a single bed in it. Then, there is a cabin under the wheelhouse (the snug) which has two single beds- perfect for friends sharing or teenagers. Please note- access to the snug is via steep steps so not suitable for all.

There is a separate toilet and shower room.

Seahorse is a perfect place to stay for adventure-loving people- whether just for a couple to have a relaxing break, or for a family.

Other things to note
Seahorse is a historic boat, and not a brand new AirBnB- so may not suit all travellers! We re-paint and clean it on a regular basis but as everything is bespoke, it can be a challenge to keep it pristine.

Parking a car is difficult in London, and we do not have private parking. There are options that we can help you with, especially if you don't plan to move your car for the duration of your stay, but we would recommend coming without one- and then using public transport- connections are great.

Also worth noting is that whilst there is fairly efficient wifi- we are at the mercy of the river and in a steel barge so it can occasionally be erratic.
