This spacious Japanese style 1 bedroom condo (53 sqm) has a true feeling local and city stay! Walking distance to Kaminarimon, Sensoji Temple and Skytree. With the subway station just across the street, all hot locations are just within your reach!

The space

Locate in Asakusa, across the subway station, this is a perfect good space for family (max 4). A truely local living experience, easy to get around and a lot of local dinning, shopping and sight-seeing, a very tourist friendly location!

A nice balcony with sunshine and good street scene, good airflow in and out the condo!

This is an entire space of your own, no sharing as such!

Once again, this is not a HOTEL, I prefer to rent to people who treat the place very well and respect it as if it was their own home.

Interaction with guests

Once you book, I will contact you as much as I can to help you to check in and during your stay. I am based in Hong Kong, but I have English speaking Japanese condo manager as contact point during your stay. We will chat thro emails and for urgent Q&A.

Other things to note

Dear guest, you might have read or seen from somewhere that Airbnb or similar sites have been comment in newspapers or television, for this kind of "short rental" is supposedly “ilegal” business.

My view about the above is very simple: we are friends, and I am the owner of the apartment, and you are my inviting stay guests. Our friendship speaks for itself. No need to answer anyone anything, people in the building specially Juristic Manager might try to ask some information about who you are? or did you booked the apartment from the site? or how much did you payed for the apartement? So far, we don’t have any report about such incidents but it could happen. But if these questions is being asked, please state to them you are a friend of Victor CHEONG, who is living in Hong Kong and this is his Tokyo holiday apartment, and you have been invited to stay in my condominium and of course don’t tell them anything about payment. This could avoid stupid problems during you stay!

This apartment is not a hotel, it is my private condo residential. Please treat the apartment so well as your own home.

My “House keeping person" will give their best assistance to all your needs, but please understand that there are not the hotel staff nor concierge staff, so please do not treat them as such, and we kindly ask you to be polite with them.

The following two issues are critically important for you to follow during your stay at the apartment:

1. Noise
2. Trash Separation

Noise - The apartment is very quiet and our neighbors value the peaceful harmonious living that is synonymous with being in Japan. Please refrain from talking loudly near or in the apartment. Especially in the evenings, please keep noise to a minimum.

Trash - The separation of trash and recyclables is very strict in Japan. Please follow the instructions we have provided for you in the apartment for how to properly separate and dispose of the following 4 categories into 4 separate bags:

1. General/Combustible Garbage
2. Plastic Bottles
3. Glass Bottles
4. Cans

Please ensure you follow all of these rules while in Japan and if you have any questions about the above, please don't hesitate to ask us for further clarification.

We had an excellent stay at this gorgeous apartment. Communication started as soon as we booked, and the host made sure we knew what we needed to know well in advance. Checkin was very simple, and all amenities were as described. The view from the apartment is superb, and the area is great for exploring. We would not hesitate to recommend staying here, and we ourselves will be back in a couple of years. Thanks for making us feel so welcome!

The self check-in worked like a charm and the location very close to the Ginza line station and post office was really convenient, but it also meant that the constant traffic noise was noticeable at all times. The house has some great stuff in it, such as the Denon sound plinth. that you can pair with your device to play music. The neighbours were quiet, respectful and friendly. The newly appointed local house manager was splendid; this was as well, since she was mortified at our finding that the house had evidence of not having been properly cleaned for some considerable time. She inspired much confidence and I think it likely that the cleaning issue may well have been resolved by now. To sum up, the cleaning has probably been resolved by now and if you can live with the traffic noise, this apartment has many advantages. The overall rating would certainly have been 4 stars (one star off for the traffic noise) had the house been properly clean.

This was my second stay at this location, and it was just as good as the last. Although it's right across from the Ginza line entrance, it was quiet at night, lively during the day, and amazingly convenient. The apartment was clean, and nicely decorated (the traditional decor for the walls, windows, and tatami mats were great). I can't emphasize the convenience of the location - close to restaurants, shopping, and transit. You are only about a 10 minute walk from one of Tokyo's most popular shrines, a 10 minute ride to the Tokyo Skytree, and only two stops from Akihabara! Thank you, Han and Catherine for another amazing stay!

Just as described, the apartment was in an excellent location and had everything you could possibly need. With amazing notes in English to help you with every appliance. Highly recommend you stay (but not when I want to return:-) Thank you Uncle Vic

Uncle Vic's place was absolutely perfect. It's in a very convenient location and it's very spacious. The pocket wifi was super handy and the apartment had everything we needed for our stay. The 7-11 is really close by and we used its taqbin services to send our luggages to the airport which was incredibly helpful. We would definately come back to stay at Uncle Vic's place again on our next trip to Japan.

My collection of privately owned apartments are: Harbor View Apartment in Hong Kong; Riverfront condo in Bangkok and City-view apartment in Tokyo, they could be just the locations you are looking for on your next visit. They are all with a nice view, great nearby with metro on the door step.
