Our house is a spacious 4 bed 2.5 bath home located just 2 minutes off of Exit 117 of I35 and is rented individually by the room. Your room has a twin bed, dresser, closet and TV. If needed we provide a floor mattress. Parking is in private driveway. We got a few large (well mannered) dogs . So you must like/tolerate their presence and understand that we are not as spotless as a hotel or a museum. It's a safe, quiet and clean place you will get a good rest and that at a budget price!

The space

Even though we are located right next to I-35 we yet live in a quiet street and safe neighborhood. If you need to crash quickly getting off the highway, you are "home" right away and back on the road just as quickly.
We are a quiet and hardworking group of American, German and Mexican folks. We keep the house orderly and clean. But as mentioned before, we do have large dogs (and occasional visitors from other travelers). The dogs are not much of a bother and won't disturb you if you want to keep the doors closed. Your room is very clean, but we need your understanding that the dogs are roaming free in and out of the house and thus the home will not be squeaky-clean (even though I clean most every day). We offer a great place to stay providing you with everything you need to make your needed stop comfortable and also memorable if you stay for a few more days to explore the area.

Guest access

You are welcome to stretch out at the entire home, may use living room, kitchen, laundry. You share the bath with my roommates, a gal and a guy (he only takes shower there as he has his private half bath). You may go out to eat (since all kinds of restaurants is so close by) but you may as well prepare your own meals and use dishes and silverware that is available in the kitchen. Don't even have to do the dishes if it fits in the dishwasher. We do have WiFi but no cable. So you need to be content with the TV programming that comes via the air (more than 25 channels if you wish).

Interaction with guests

I work independently, so I am in and out on an irregular schedule. But in case you need assistance with anything I will be just a phone call away.
AND ==================================================>> We have a handful (literally) of German Shepherds. All we have to do is to introduce you to them and then they will be your best friend...

Other things to note

We hope we will never have to use it, but in case you should stop by during tornado season, we have an 8 x 12 tornado safe room that can accommodate up to 8 people to protect us from that kind of element...
AND ===============================================>>
Please NOTE: I want to emphasize that I do have 5 (yes five) German Shepherd dogs and I also welcome guests to bring their dogs along (or cats if they stay inside the room) - thus the “Dog LOVERS" home. However, there is still that one percent of travelers that seemingly overlook that fact in my description and then bash my place with unfair reviews & complaints to Airbnb. I very much pride myself in my dogs being well educated & respectful and my home IS tidy, safe and presentable despite that the dogs roam inside and outside of the house.
Thus here again: I'd like to make sure when you book that you understand we have 5 dogs and that I need your cooperation in participating in the dog introduction. My dogs are no outside ornaments (as was falsely claimed in a quite unfair review), the house is shared with them. If you understand that we are not a museum with squeaky shiny everything, I assure you will receive outstanding service in a clean and presentable home, will enjoy my furry friends' company and can relax and refresh for your next strip of your travels.

Martina is a great host, she will introduce you to her roomies and her friends, make you breakfast and coffee, and talk to you about her life just like you are a real friend. I'd love to stay there again

Must Love Dogs! The dogs are wonderful - very friendly and extremely well behaved, and quiet. I enjoyed them very much. Martina was probably the most gracious airbnb host I have encountered. Went above and beyond what was expected - providing breakfast each morning, especially the pancakes she made on Sunday! The accommodations were as described - comfortable bed, and had all basic necessities - nothing fancy. Convenient location and easy access to the home. I would definitely stay again. Miss the dogs already!

Martina was an amazing host. I brought my Siberian husky with me and her German Shepards were incredibly obedient and so sweet! She was attentive and had cool stories to tell. Really enjoyed my stay and would strongly recommend.

Martina is such a kind, friendly, and hospitable host. She was more than willing to cater to any of her guest's needs and has a great sense of humor! Her dogs were friendly and she really made me feel at home. It was truly a pleasure to meet her and I would stay again. P.S. Her German pancakes are to die for if you get the chance to enjoy them

Martina made delicious breakfast each day we were there (even though we woke up very late), her dogs are precious, she gave us a code to the door so we could come and go as we pleased, her place was clean and the bed was very comfy, she let us check in and get acquainted to the dogs very late at night and let us check out whenever we wanted. House was only 15 minutes from the city and neighborhood felt very safe.

It was a nice house, a little messy but that didn't bother us at all. The dogs are super cute and friendly. Martina is a great host, we got some cold watermelon when we got there and in the morning she made us breakfast. Would definitely stay at her place again!

Response from Martina:
My apologies that you felt I invited you into a messy home. If you would be so kind and let me know what specifically you'd suggest I change so I can make future guest feel more comfortable. Thank you.
