For the budget conscious yet aesthetically minded traveler, stay on the full sized futon couch in our zen-inspired living room, complete with Pacific Northwest adornments and Swedish furnishings. Keep a healthy and regular sleep schedule amidst the natural comings and goings of the apartment.
In the kitchen: Pots and pans, cups, plates, bowls, utensils and tupperware. Guests are expected to clean any kitchenware after use.
Laundry: There is a coin-operated laundromat and wash & fold two blocks south on Sacramento Street open until 10pm (last wash 9pm) for laundry needs.
Interaction with guests
We want to encourage freedom for our guests to roam about, unburdened by social norms or decorum. A listing of local favorites for places to eat, drink, and shop will be provided if desired.
The host, Janet, is a working professional and will be available within 30-60 minutes if there are any needs requiring immediate in-person attention.
The roommate, Jared, is a graduate student at the university, is mostly out of the house, but friendly and approachable when home.
Guests are expected to keep the couch in restored appearance during the daytime, from 10am onward.
Please leave shoes on the indoor mat near the entrance.
Kitchen utensils and pots/pans are communal, but food is not.
Quiet hours are from 12am-8am.
