We had a great weekend here. The caravan is perfect for two people who want their private bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped, the shower hot, the beds comfy. We didn't stay long enough to explore the surrounding area, but I can imagine that the walk to the ocean is lovely and…

In the Summer months I've no doubt it's a wonderful place to stay in a lovely rural setting but in December and during the vast amount if cold, windy and heavy rainy conditions it wasn't so good especially due to the lack of heating and hot water - this left our family of 2 adult…

Response from Kerry:
This guest and I have had various conversations as it has become apparent they surprisingly ran down 2 new bottles of 19Kg gas by leaving the heating on at Max during the 48 hrs + of their stay even if out for the day or evening or asleep for some reason. This was despite my warnings and advice as the radiators are very large and the atmosphere in the caravan was unbearably stifling and hot when I visited them and explained how to use the heating sustainably. The weather was bad but temperatures not very low, we haven’t even had frosts yet in Cornwall. They apparently had no gas from Midnight on New Year’s Eve until their packing up and departure the following morning by 10am, they did not contact us in the morning and only tried when we were asleep late the night before? They did have full electricity and the outbuilding with all facilities at anytime where there are mobile plug in heaters, a hot shower and cooking facilities if these were needed at midnight or in the morning.. Plus there were multiple blankets, hot water bottles, electric kettles, toasters, microwaves etc in their caravan and on site in the outbuilding. It is a shame to read exaggerated feedback which can cause confusion for others wishing to make booking decisions...
