A glorious 17th Century sandstone stable block converted to create 3 extra large "Super King Size" bedrooms with views over paddocks and the beautiful Bickerton Hills adjoining the Sandstone trail and on the Cheshire Cycleway Route 70. Located 12 miles from Chester, close to Tarporley, Malpas, Nantwich, Tattenhall and Whitchurch.

Use of Heated Indoor Pool!

Breakfast is continental and left for you to self serve in the "tack" room.

Please see Flicker's and Billy's page for more availability.

The space
The stables are oversized and far too nice for horses having been pitch pine clad over forty years ago and have a unique character and charm which combined with our rural setting offer a peaceful escape from everyday life and a brilliant venue or base to explore all that South Cheshire has to offer especially as we are right on the Sandstone Trail. Ideal for couples, families or a small group of friends the accommodation can be altered to suit.

Guest access
Guests have access to the swimming pool up until 2300hrs. The three "stables" share the "tack" room kitchen and the surrounding grounds. There are 3 shared bathrooms adjacent the stables so it's more glamping than five-star accommodation in this regard but you should be clean after a dip in the pool and use of the poolroom shower which does have an indoor WC.

Other things to note
We have three rooms to let individually by the night or as a holiday let for groups or families. The price quoted is per room per night for double occupancy. Discounts given for single occupancy, long-term and for 3 room/group bookings except during Carfest weekend. Please e-mail for more info in this regard.

I am a true "Shropshire Lass" now living in Cheshire but first and foremost I am a mum to three wonderful children. My partner and I have a love of all things equine and together we train several race horses which he rides as an amateur jockey in National Hunt Jump and Point to Point races during the winter months. We love the outdoors hence living in this glorious part of North West England. I trained as a nurse and love taking care of everyone especially my guests! I specialised in trauma injuries but would hope not to need to use these skills in Bickerton! We love to laugh and muck about like teenagers and we have a great venue to share with friends, family and visitors alike.
