Where you’ll be

Pézenas, Occitanie, France

Our house is located in southern France in the historic city of Pézenas, which dates back to the 9th century. This well-known small town is located in the Languedoc area near the Mediterranean Sea. Here you will experience a genuine French small town and the countryside, with the opportunity to visit vineyards, play golf, hike in the mountains, cycle along the Canal de Midi, fish, as well as enjoy the sun and walk along the stunning sandy beaches. In addition, the area is a gastronomic mecca for seafood, wine and delicious cheeses, with the Roquefort caves nearby.

Pézenas is a cultural center with a handful of museums, cozy art galleries and craft shops. There are also about 30 antique dealers and 45 local artisans. The French cuisine meets you in the city's many restaurants which are within 5 minutes walking distance from the house, ranging from oyster bars to crêpes, to fine dining, and of course the French bakeries. The outdoor food market is on Saturdays, and during July and August, the wine festival showcasing the local vineyards is just a few steps away.
