The Bramble Bank 'Cartshed' is newly refurbished, stylish, luxurious and quirky. Right opposite the Vicar of Dibley church in the heart of Turville. Film location for Vicar of Dibley, Midsummer Murders, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Good Night Mr Tom, and numerous other films. Fantastic walking and wildlife in the ancient chiltern hills.

The space
The Cartshed is the only short term accommodation in the village of Turville. The kitchenette is fully equipped for simple, light meals. There are two hob hot plates, grill, microwave oven, fridge. Underfloor heating, large powerful shower, The bed is a normal size double, there is also a sofa bed at 4ft wide. An extra charge will apply for 1 extra person.

Guest access
The Cartshed is completely separate from the cottage. There is parking for 1 car. Other cars may park in the village. You have your own pateo area with seating, and a lovely view overlooking the garden to the church. The Cottage and Garden is private.

Other things to note
Please remember to bring your own food requirements.. The sofa bed can be booked at an extra charge for 1 extra person. I would ask guests to be respectful of the property. Turn off lights when you go out, and please remove shoes and boots.

There are many walks and wildlife. The scenery surrounding Turville is quite breath-taking. Herds of Fallow deer and Red Kites soaring over head are a frequent sight. You can walk to the barn cafe which serves delicious lunches, tea, coffee, cakes. All homemade. Or walk up to the chitty chitty bang bang windmill. The local pub The Bull and Butcher serves great food and is 30 seconds walk away. Ideally situated for many attractions. Henley on Thames, Marlow both 15 minutes away with great restaurants and shopping. Or take a pretty walk along the river bank. Oxford is 35 minutes away. Blenheim Palace 40 minutes. Windsor 40 minutes. Heathrow airport 35 minutes (we are not in the flight path!) Bicester village retail shopping centre 40 mins.
