Lovely secluded little beach shack in a great location just behind Rye back beach, short drive to Rye foreshore and Sorrento with lots of shops and cafes. Small cluster of local stores including a bakery on the corner of the street. Stayed with my Partner and my mother for a couple of days and the shack was set up very well for a couple and two friends or two children. Lots of outdoor space in the backyard Very clean and tidy. good value for money. Simon was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

Beautiful! This place felt like our own home, comfy bed, kitchen had all amenities needed for us. We had a great night with a BBQ then sat next to the fire into the night with a few glasses of wine. Recommend the walk which is detailed in the guestbook, stunning views. The outdoor space is amazing, feels like you're always discovering a new part of it! Not far from the Hot Springs and we visited a few towns around, this place was a great location for us. Host was available if needed and even spoke to me on the phone to explain access and also some tips about the place. Neighbourhood is nice, quiet and the house and garden feel very private.

We had a lovely time at Simon's place. The location was great, you can walk from the house to a magical walk through the dunes towards the ocean. By car you can explore the various little towns and beaches of the peninsula and there are excellent walks nearby. The house itself was cosy and all we needed, the fire pit out the back was magical and we loved that candles were available to create a lovely ambience in the evening. The house had everything you could want and it's been landscaped in a beautiful and interesting way. I loved all the stone work! We're grateful for the experience we had at Simon's place.

My partner and I spent a long weekend at Simon's cozy shack. It was a wonderful place to relax and a great base for exploring the Peninsula and everything it has to offer. It's really close to the hot springs and wineries and the beach is within the walking distance. The house is cute and has everything you might need. Simon has been a great communicator and offered some good tips for our stay. I strongly recommend his place.

I gave my son another trip to The Great Wall of Rye as we call it, for his birthday. We stayed for Xmas one year, so he had been before. I figured it was a great place to relax as he is working so hard. Again he loved it and we will be back. Thanks Simon!

The place is exactly as pictured and a short walk to secluded beaches (turn left at the fork for sunrise and right for sunset). The perfect place to relax, unwind and explore the coast.
