We are located in the rain forest on the east side of the Big Island in Hawaiian Paradise Park; 16 miles south of Hilo. We are only 2.7 miles to beautiful and dramatic rocky coastline to watch waves and whales and turtles.

The space
The Hideaway is a private small screened bungalow behind our house. It's like being outdoors with the comfort of a room. It has a comfy Queen size bed with a twin trundle bed stored under it for that third guest. A table/chairs overlook a small goldfish pond. There is a tiny refrigerator and microwave, a Hot water pot, a french press, cups/glasses and spoons, coffee and tea with cream and sugar ready for that morning cuppa.
The bathroom is a short walk from your room and has an outdoor shower. Fluffy towels, Shampoo/conditioner and body wash are within reach.

Where you’ll be

Keaau, Hawaii, United States

Hawaiian Paradise Park is one of the larger communities in the Puna District. We are along the eastern coastline and the Maku'u park is a favorite spot to fish from shore, watch whales or just catch some sun. The Maku'u market is a Sunday must with food vendors, crafts, artists. There are restaurants, gas, drug store and groceries within a short drive.
