Anneli is a wonderful host! It was very fun to have dinner together. The place is quiet and very close to the tram station of two lines. It is easy to access the city center. She gave me a lot of information around Helsinki. They were always perfect for me.

I've stayed with Anneli twice and. Each stay was very pleasant. She is warm, welcoming and a great host. The location is about 2 miles from the city center. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my time in Amelies cosy flat. It was an easy and relaxed time. The flat is close to the very center an well connected by tram and bus. Allthough beeing on a busy main street, the room itself is very silent.

During my stay I experienced Anneli's home, colorful and comfortable as it appears in the photos, evenly matched by her cooking and hospitality, likewise florid and inviting. It was pleasure meeting her and her family and also going about my business in Helsinki, partially laptop-based, partially dispersed around the City, while being based – 'at home' – in her apartment. Accommodations 'simply' appreciated and recommended.

My experience staying with Anneli was the first time I have stayed in Finland and also the first time using Airbnb at all and I have to say it really could not have been better. Anneli is a lovely, warm, friendly lady who is an excellent host - anything that I needed or had questions about (e.g. getting around, recommendations on what to do in Helsinki) she was happy to answer and wanted to make sure that I had the best stay possible. She is also a very intelligent and lively conversation and we had some great discussions. The apartment is a lovely space filled with unique, quirky furniture in lovely colours and patterns. It's a really relaxing space and on the days that I wasn't exploring the city it was a pleasure to sit there and read, or watch TV, or study. My room was very cosy - there were extra blankets available but it was very warm when I was there so I didn't need them, but it shows the attention to detail that has been given to the guest's comfort. In terms of amenities the apartment has everything you could need- washer/dryer, shower, a kitchen which is probably better equipped than my own - very comfy seats. With the windows closed it is quiet and as promised you can see some lovely sights - particularly sunsets - from the bedroom. The flat is also very well situated on one the the main roads in Helsinki which, if you follow it down by bus or tram or foot, leads directly to the shopping centre of Helsinki and the central Railway Station. On the way there you pass the National Museum of Finland, the Kiasma modern art museum, the Musikkitalo (huge concert hall and event venue), and was only a couple of minutes diversion by me to find the Natural History Museum and Church in the Rock, one of the biggest tourist attractions in Finland, on my way back from the city centre one lovely evening. The apartment is also just a short walk from the woodland and park area, a good spot for a stroll. As I said, I can only find more good things to say about Anneli, her beautiful home and my stay in Helsinki but unfortunately I am running out of words! Suffice to say, I think I got the best out of Helsinki because I stayed with her and anyone who choses to stay here is guaranteed a good trip.

I would recommend Anneli's place with full confidence :-) She gave me a nice welcome to her home. She is really kind and helped me to find the best places that I could visit in Helsinki. I felt 'home' during the time I stayed there.Home is really clean and well organised. Anneli made a good space for me at her home. Location of the home was really convenient to travel all the places that I decided to go. All over, I really like the stay at Anneli's place :-)

Hi! Welcome to Helsinki! being a very social person, I love to host people, and am very happy I can do that also through Airbnb.
I love to cook, to travel and to read. I like Italian cuisine very much, as I used to live there for quite a while.
I'd be more than happy to share tips and hints about where to go and what to see in Helsinki.
