INFO

Important - print this map out and bring it with you so you can find us easier. There's only 10 numbers on our street!
Our address is: Kamaterou Street 3, Athens, Greece.

Coming from the airport:
You have to take subway from the airport to Syntagma square (it's around 35-40 minutes to reach Syntagma and the ticket costs €8), or you may take bus number X95, from the airport to Syntagma square. It's around 40-45 minutes to reach Syntagma and the ticket costs €5. In both cases you have to take subway from there to Omonoia square (two stops). There is a big mall called 'Hondos Center' (ask someone to show you).

If you take bus and get off Syntagma square you have 2 minutes walking to the subway station, which is just on the other side of the bus station, you get off. :)The subway journey from there to Omonoia Square will take about 5 minutes. Omonoia Square is the second stop (the first is Panepistimio University), the ticket price is €1.40 (for the subway). If you use the subway from the airport (which costs€8), you can use the same ticket to transfer to Omonoia square. :) the ticket is valid for one and half hours, so...you have to decide which way you want to go. :)

In both cases you have to get off in Syntagma and change to another subway for Omonoia square (by the way, the subway you have to change is just one floor, up - just ask someone if you get a bit lost.

If you prefer us to meet you at Omonoia Square, please let me know ,contact me here or at the email ( after your booking ),to confirm the details :)

See you soon!

Pros: the room had ac and was fairly large, there was an elevator in the building so we didn't have to walk up and down 6 flights to reach the room, and we were walking distance from several tourist attractions and good shops and restaurants. Cons: the bed was very uncomfortable, felt like being stabbed by the springs. The bathrooms were quite dirty and smelly. The breakfast consisted of bread as dry as croutons that crumbled when even spreading softened butter on it, and instant coffee. There's no microwave or kettle so you would have to boil the water in one of the few pots available. The neighborhood the room is in was quite run down, drug addicts and drunks could be seen at all hours of the day. We were told by several locals that the area was unsafe for us to be in.

The location is around 1 km to Monastirakiou Square, is not a familiar area. About the room it was the same that we can see in the pictures but you can find some dust, the TV only have one channel works, the WiFi works intermittently only in the social area, the breakfast is only some toasts and with butter, jam and one bottle of juice for all the flat (could be 2 or 7 persons) so is better if you have your own.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room and the shared spaces was cleaned. A good place to stay if you are planning not spend to much time in your room, but to see the city. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

It's good for the price, but the Wi-Fi was not the most reliable, and be warned that the neighborhood doesn't feel the safest. But as a plus, there was air conditioning and a balcony!

We stayed for two nights, everything was pretty much as expected. The directions were easy to follow. We were greeted promptly, and people in charge were professional and helpful. The furniture was dorm-like and decent. The common areas were comfortable, cozy, and clean, although right outside the room so we could hear people talking through the door. Breakfast is simple bread and spreads; ours was fine the first morning but the second, it was actually moldy. Wifi is very spotty, less so in the common area, but consistent if we went to the 3rd or 4th floor. Neighborhood is a little scary at night, but close to the Metro and walking distance from all the ruins. Overall, we would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for cheap and good accommodations in the middle of Athens, as it suited our purposes nicely.
