Vannat greeted us with a smile at the airport, when he met us with the tuktuk, and we had another delightful welcome at Jean Pierre and Ly's home. The flat was again clean, spacious and cool, even during 36 degrees of heat outside. Jean Pierre has added an outside table and chairs too, and their garden is extremely pleasant and well-cared for. Last time I stayed I had a variety of fruit for my breakfast, but this time we ate delicious Cambodian breakfasts cooked by Ly's sister, Savong, most mornings, and an American (eggs and toast!) breakfast one day. It was all just as special as when I stayed there two years ago. I felt safe, peaceful and comfortable. Vannat was thoughtful in suggesting different temples, and also the floating village, not to mention being willing to drive us to recommended restaurants in the evening. He also suggested a great cooking class. All in all, I can thoroughly recommend Jean Pierre's top class apartment. We will be returning again!

The studio is just delightful, exactly as the picture. Jean Pierre and the whole family are extremely gracious and made us feel welcomed from day one. Breakfasts were served at different times to accommodate our trips and we really appreciated having a tuk tuk at the ready when we needed to go to town. The house is not far from town but you need a tuk tuk to get there unless you want to walk 30 to 40 min. If you staying longer like we did it can get tiring. The studio has a kitchen but we ate out most days. This is a lovely spot away from the crowds to enjoy a relaxed stay.

We spent 9 days in Jean Pierre's comfortable and well appointed studio flat in the middle of a Cambodian village about 5k from centre of Siem Reap . Studio and facilities were as described with access to the washing machine at the end of 2 weeks cycling being most welcome. Savon( J -P's sister in law) and her family, were attentive helpful and delightful hosts and the noodle soup breakfasts were very delicious. Our stay was enhanced by interaction with Savon's 3 very bright and cheerful daughters ,who taught us some Khmer words and several clapping games. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, were sorry to leave and would recommend this accommodation without hesitation.

I very much enjoyed staying in Jean Pierre and Ly's exquisite flat in Siem Reap. I was met at the airport by the tuk tuk driver and taken to their home, which is about halfway between the airport and Siem Reap. Vannat was at hand later in the afternoon to take me into Siem Reap, to the ATM, and for shopping. The flat is ideal. Spotlessly clean, (and beautifully cleaned each morning) and very comfortable. The kitchen is spacious, and had everything that I could need. The bed was very comfortable, and the sheets were changed halfway through my stay. ;-)). There was a very calm and peaceful atmosphere there. Jean Pierre and Ly were very welcoming, but I also felt as though they respected my privacy too. Jean Pierre suggested that I have a tuk tuk driver for as many days of my stay as I wished, and this was invaluable. Vannat was cheerful, helpful, informative and very reliable. He recommended sights that I might have missed, like Kbal Spean (he got me there early and I had the place to myself....bliss!) and the silk farm which was fascinating. Whenever he realised that I was interested in something, he would stop for exploration (the brick factory!) or investigation. I will certainly return to Siem Reap, and will stay at this brilliant apartment again. Many thanks to Jean Pierre and all his lovely family.

I've stayed in a dozen airbnb rentals, almost all of which had stellar ratings and several of which were superhosts. And, still, this place is probably my favorite of all. I loved the location in a quiet, rural rear town. The hosts were kind, gracious, and helpful. The studio was well-designed, comfortable, and everything worked. It was perfect for one person, but would also be great for couples. They even provided laundry service at no extra cost. I'm definitely going to stay here again next time I'm in Siem Reap.

Nice flat, spacious, air conditioning, fully furnished. The only bummer is this place was too far from city and must rent a tuk tuk everytime wan to go out, so it could be very boring place to stay. No any other options eg bicycle at the property. Additional cost for tuk tuk from $4 - $15 should be consider into expenses.

We are a franco/cambodian marriage (15 years)
I (Jean-Pierre) am a retired french man who's passions are watching good movies, reading books and cooking.
My wife, Chan-Ly loves meeting new people. She started to learn languages right after our marriage and she is now fluent in French, English and Thai.
We have a lot of experience in serving tourists yet I have been running different hotels and resorts in Cambodia.
We love children and travels. Often, we look for a virgin beach to fly to.
I could say that Love, Peace and travels are the giudelines of our lifestyle.
