Among the desirable suburbs of south Manchester, Chorlton-cum-Hardy has an established reputation as a diverse, liberal community; home to many of Manchester’s creative incubants.
The house is just 300m from the main Manchester Road through central Chorlton; with its popular independent traders, bars, coffee shops, cafés, restaurants; there's plenty to amuse you locally, and the bright lights of Manchester city-centre are within easy reach by taxi, the frequent Metrolink trams, or bus.

The space
My comfortable 1900's period semi-detached house retains various original period features, alongside modern comforts and interesting additions. It's an ideal base from which to enjoy the locale, venture into the nearby cities of Manchester, Salford, or Stockport, watch cricket or football at Old Trafford or Ethihad, or even take day-trips to The Lake District, North Wales, Liverpool, Leeds and so on.

Guest access
You will have exclusive use of: off-road parking for a small car (roadside parking is unrestricted and free), the entrance hallway, the comfortable lounge, and the kitchen dining are on the ground floor, along with utility room and wc.
Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a smaller single bedroom, there is a separate (shower) bathroom.

There is a full kitchen and cooking facilities, along with some basic breakfast provisions; there are also many restaurants and take-aways within walking distance, and food-delivery options should you choose to eat in rather than out.

Other things to note
Free, unlimited 100Mbps superfast fibre internet on guest WiFi.
Fresh linen, ample pillows, set of towels per guest. Extras on request for a modest charge.
Simple breakfast foods are provided to get you started and there are plenty grocery shops nearby for extra supplies.

Location

Greater Manchester, England, United Kingdom

Chorlton-cum-Hardy is a popular and diverse suburb of south Manchester, known for its variety of small independent traders, bars, and eateries.
It’s a quiet residential road but is just two - ten minutes walk from any and all of the bars and restaurants Chorlton has to offer. (Happy to advise you – there’s so many to choose from; and I keep a menus folder in the house for convenience)

Trafford (and Old Trafford / Manchester United / Cricket) lies to the west, Whalley Range to the north, Withington and West Didsbury to the east. To the south, Chorlton backs onto the Mersey Valley greenbelt, with water parks, the river, woodlands, with the M60 orbital and the international airport beyond.
